Stains and defects?

2020-05-10 03:50:15 UTC

C'mon man, I wear Carhartts and walls, you think 60 bucks scares me!? Lok

2020-05-10 03:50:19 UTC

Lol*

2020-05-10 03:52:00 UTC

I have a phat ass and I can’t get carharrt to last, always ripped out the pockets in less than six months

2020-05-10 03:52:29 UTC

Usually wear shit from buckle right now, do I look like a tool? Sure I do

2020-05-10 03:52:39 UTC

But they’ve actually lasted

2020-05-10 03:52:40 UTC

I blow out crotches mostly.... 😫

2020-05-10 03:53:00 UTC

Most my jeans I’ve patched the crotch at least twice

2020-05-10 03:53:32 UTC

But yeah, Duluth trading has an outlet store, cheaper than retail on a lot of their stuff

2020-05-10 03:53:44 UTC

I've worn buckle before, I like their shit. But sure as hell won't pay that price anymore lol. Eh, my walls I've been considering fixing the crotch, but my sewing machine doesn't like chewing into rolled seams

2020-05-10 03:53:53 UTC

Ohhh gotcha

2020-05-10 03:57:44 UTC

They have a lifetime warranty so their warranty items get sent there if they’re still usable, so like sometimes you can swing something with a minor issue for cheap

2020-05-10 03:58:12 UTC

That's cool shit. What's their waranty like?

2020-05-10 03:58:53 UTC

And yeah, like I got given one pair of em and bought one on eBay after I got my first couple (buckle) I’ve tried to avoid paying retail cause fuck $160 for jeans no matter how well they last

2020-05-10 03:59:25 UTC

And as far as I understand as long as it’s not shredded to ribbons ( and even then) they replace it

2020-05-10 03:59:33 UTC

No shit. I wear mine till they are fully in usable. To I look homeless sometimes, sure. But with what I wind up doing fuck it

2020-05-10 03:59:40 UTC

Damn dog

2020-05-10 04:04:29 UTC

I need to get my sewing machine up and running, but yeah, I patch mine until I can’t anymore

2020-05-10 04:04:48 UTC

Have an older machine or newer?

2020-05-10 04:04:51 UTC

Like it’s not hard to do clean repairs

2020-05-10 04:05:01 UTC

Nah, not at all

2020-05-10 04:05:13 UTC

Uhh, old, probably 80’s, I got it off the curb on a college move out weekend

2020-05-10 04:05:34 UTC

Not bad. I like older machines. They usually hold up better

2020-05-10 04:06:07 UTC

Yeah, like I doubt it’s busted, people tend to throw away perfectly good stuff around here

2020-05-10 04:06:34 UTC

Sewing machines, ya, they usually work lol. Rare an old one is propperly fucked

2020-05-10 04:07:41 UTC

I always always always keep two on hand. A newer is one that can do at least zig zag, and an old all metal geared straight stich machine, you know incase some heavier shit needs doing. Cause those you can give it a good crank by hand on it's flywheel

2020-05-10 04:09:17 UTC

Yeah, like one of the two usually can fill the role

2020-05-10 04:09:32 UTC

Plus fishing line for those heavy duty repairs

2020-05-10 04:09:58 UTC

Oh ya, one would do all. But, I have a thing for redundancy lol

2020-05-10 04:10:16 UTC

Yeah, like the spider wire shit or whatever it's called. That thread like stuff

2020-05-10 04:11:09 UTC

Like the Muskie line? I don’t fish so I just call it what I’ve seen

2020-05-10 04:11:32 UTC

And yeah, I just have like some 10lb test for if my backpacks fuck up

2020-05-10 04:11:36 UTC

I used to fish. Idk what it's called anymore, everyone makes it. But it's just the thin braided line

2020-05-10 04:12:01 UTC

Yeah I got nothin, but I know the stuff you’re talking about

2020-05-10 04:12:13 UTC

But ya, that shit is awweeesome

2020-05-10 04:12:33 UTC

I keep it on hand for the backpack, pants and plate carrier

2020-05-10 04:14:07 UTC

Yeah, cause normal thread you’re back and forth over it all day to get it to hold

2020-05-10 04:14:46 UTC

Yes sir. Still a good idea to do a good bar tack even with good stuff

2020-05-10 04:35:10 UTC

For sure, really throws me for a loop when people can’t even do a button

2020-05-10 04:35:33 UTC

Gaht damn, there's really people out there that can't do that?

2020-05-10 04:35:59 UTC

Loads of em man
