I attached rails to my ar earlier and I took out the chrome plates inside the handguard, is that ok?
I need some zustava ak 47 mags anyone got some for sale?
I can’t say I do.
@imthatguy7538 is it a polymer handguard?
The chrome plates you are referring to are used to dissipate heat.
@[LA] Zoomer Medi/k/ that’s what I thought he was referring too but wanted to make sure. If it’s a polymer handguard, then need to be in it, since they keep the handguard from melting. I highly recommend either going with a full length M-LOK or Keymod handguard. PLENTY of room for furniture, whether it be irons, lights, foregrips, lasers, or what have you.
And it is much easier to c-clamp.
I’ve added 45 degree sights on mine since this was taken, and swapped out the cable for a regular end cap on my light. I still have one more engraving I want done on it.
So it begins.
So it begins.
Gonna have another MS boi in here shortly. I sent one of the guys in mine and @yeetasaurus’s local group the invite. He lives one road behind me
That’s badass.
I hope eventually we can all meet up.
I can train some people in medical and maybe practice IVs?
I need to practice actually training instead of standing in a field shooting at a target but we never have enough people to really do anything
And I need to get plates so I can start getting used to carrying some weight
If we can get that whole group together, we may do much better to actually train.
@[MS] Foxtrot795 and I have a few friends that actually like to get out of the house and go shoot. If I don't take him with me, it's usually one or 2 of my other group of about 4. He knows more people than I do though
I’m down to do a lot of the medical training for everyone.
I think you're the only one that has any sort of formal training so you just kinda get that role as is
Have you not seen anything? I don’t have any formal training like at classes but I do know what I’m doing for the most part.
What you know is 100% more than what I know.
Half the time when you talk medical I don't even know what the fuck my ears are picking up
I haven’t been to classes but I have definitely done research and have talked to a Green Beret medic so I know a good bit.
Just not formal training
No local classes?
None
If I do have questions though I will likely refer to Green Beret.
I just hope people will listen
And I’d love to have the opportunity to practice IVs.
I’m an EMT on 911 ALS unit for the last 4 years I’ve got you guys on medical
Killdozer 2.0?
So we have medical down pat.
Me and you can do the medical stuff.
I’m a lot more combat medicine oriented than normal medicine so there are going to be certain things to keep in mind that are different.
I’ve got some training sims I can bring for yall to practice wound packing & tq/chest seal application
I’ve got vein skin for iv start practice as well
YES PLEASE
but I’m not wasting combat gauze
