I've added another pistol mag to that since
I run 2 and 2 as well
But blue force for pistol
I run 6 on my carrier
Pistol?
I run all esstac kiwi
Nah, 5.56
I run esstac on my 5.56
Double deep?
No, two single triple mags with malice clips
That way i can slim down to 3 if i want extra prone space
I’m gonna run a triple shingle then the BFG on top of that
Same philosophy
I keep two extra pistol mags in that IFAK side pockets on the belt
I’m only gonna put on on a pouch because I don’t seeing myself use pistol in that kit much
Yeah, pistol is really a backup, but one is none and two is one
2 plus 1 in gun
@EDDSkitz move this to armory?
Ah, yeah... I have notifications off for most threads on here... good point
What
Need to get a comms system for my kit. Any recommendations would be appreciated considering I don’t know shit about it
What are you trying to do with it
Call in air strikes obviously
Idk though, be in contact with my guys. What else would they be for?
Just operating team or a home base
Have you ever used a radio before?
If not just get a baofeng
I recommend the Baofeng UV-82HP in particular for a first timer.
I use two radios every day
What’s the point of running comms if you don’t have a team to communicate with? That’s what I don’t get.
Listening to police scanners, in case you link up with a team
Most big departments have encrypted comms now.
@Bogs_Bunny believe it or not NYPD isn't
Surely theres a way to get in to those encrypted comms...
I’m not around any big departments
Not something that can be hacked, you'd have to have a very expensive radio, the keyloader, and the exact key directly from the comms people.
@GRANITE The ability to talk to people in the future. Also no team to talk to here, but i think having a simple set up makes sense... But has always been towards the back burner...
