That and the brush on skin or adhesive shit

2020-04-28 06:01:52 UTC

Liquid skin or something like that

2020-04-28 06:01:57 UTC

Cardiac monitor and all the supplies. Gloves, batteries, radios, everything

2020-04-28 06:03:10 UTC

Yeah when i planned my plate carrier for my role in my group of friends, the HSP flatpack plus isnt big enough for the shit i ‘could’ take. Lucky we have a setup that allows field care other than me

2020-04-28 06:03:12 UTC

For real, they have nice stuff

2020-04-28 06:03:28 UTC

And all the stuff that isn’t available OTC

2020-04-28 06:03:32 UTC

like the glorious ket

2020-04-28 06:04:16 UTC

Flatpack plus with the clear plastic pouches will do. I know where my locals shit is. Ket, fentanyl, versed, etomidate

2020-04-28 06:04:53 UTC

If all else fails you could raid a veterinarian ha ha

2020-04-28 06:05:41 UTC

I see a lot of that stuff working. One thing though, not all of the meds for EMS will be applicable to TCCC

2020-04-28 06:05:49 UTC

Busting clots and all sorts of stuff

2020-04-28 06:05:54 UTC

It’s a lot different

2020-04-28 06:06:13 UTC

In combat medicine, HEMCON is the best thing you can do for a casualty

2020-04-28 06:08:10 UTC

Blood isn’t easily replaceable in the field

2020-04-28 06:08:24 UTC

I’ve heard of medics leaving arterial bleeds open

2020-04-28 06:08:48 UTC

Because they can replace the blood

2020-04-28 06:17:38 UTC

You know what’s gonna suck? All the damn pelvic area hits we might encounter

2020-04-28 06:20:54 UTC

Can’t TQ a taint ha ha

2020-04-28 06:22:21 UTC

Imma pack the shit out of it

2020-04-28 06:22:39 UTC

I saw a device that looks cool as shit

2020-04-28 06:27:04 UTC

Ive had older medics tell me tampons are good for gsws.. i roll my eyes so hard i about go blind.

2020-04-28 06:27:36 UTC

holy hell

2020-04-28 06:27:41 UTC

Yeah no

2020-04-28 06:27:55 UTC

I said earlier how tampons didn’t work

2020-04-28 06:29:51 UTC

What was that device was supposed to be made, actually kinda looked like a tampooooon, but shot in thousands of little cloting agents

2020-04-28 06:30:10 UTC

That’s what I was talking about earlier when we were on pelvic wounds

2020-04-28 06:30:21 UTC

That damn thing works wonders

2020-04-28 06:31:23 UTC

I wish I could find one

2020-04-28 06:31:29 UTC

That and some Fast Ones

2020-04-28 06:31:42 UTC

I’m going to use Fast ones out of spite on my boys

2020-04-28 06:32:21 UTC

Oh shit ok, I never knew if they actually made it ha ha

2020-04-28 06:33:07 UTC

Yeah CoTCCC put out a video with it.

2020-04-28 06:34:14 UTC

It’s amazing for junctions wounds that a TQ can’t handle

2020-04-28 06:38:46 UTC

Damn that’s what’s up! I never knew it actually came to be

2020-04-28 06:39:05 UTC

I’d love one

2020-04-28 10:58:24 UTC

You mean the SAM splint? Works pretty good

2020-04-28 10:59:26 UTC

Fuck, I meant SAM junctional tourniquet 🤣

2020-04-28 12:17:39 UTC

Discussion: What has the COVID-19 pandemic taught us about the need to prepare ourselves and families in the face of apocalyptic pandemics in the future.

2020-04-28 12:25:50 UTC

I personally think it reinforced the idea of “prepping” more than just food and water. Learning what I actually consume every month to survive and what I either need to stock up on or substitute in the event I cannot go to store that will have basic necessities stocked for weeks.

2020-04-28 12:28:00 UTC

@Copbot1001 this could prob be moved over to member chat channel

2020-04-28 12:30:26 UTC

I’ll copy/paste
