I actually wouldn’t mind a TP9.

2020-04-29 15:56:56 UTC

I would 100% get the TP9 over the VP9. The quality is great, haven't had a single damn issue. Feeds great, and the trigger is hands down the best stock striker fire trigger I've ever used.

2020-04-29 15:57:03 UTC

I desperately need a first gun, thankfully I can buy wholesale from my father in jersey because of his store

2020-04-29 15:57:07 UTC

How long have you had it?

2020-04-29 15:57:12 UTC

A year now.

2020-04-29 15:57:37 UTC

They're really well priced, and it's the same company that makes the match triggers for the Walther PPQs

2020-04-29 15:57:43 UTC

I just have to find a range around here that has one in stock then

2020-04-29 15:58:09 UTC

You can get the TP9 SFX with a red dot ordered to your nearest gun shop for like 800 bucks.

2020-04-29 15:58:41 UTC

I kept the red dot off though because I like the irons. But I think I'm gonna put it on my glock once I get it drilled out

2020-04-29 15:58:59 UTC

The vp9 is a fantastic pistol, especially for the price. Best ergonomics out of anything available and the stock trigger is only matched by the ppq

2020-04-29 15:59:24 UTC

That being said I'd suggest a g19 as a first pistol

2020-04-29 15:59:26 UTC

I can get a Tp9SF for $246 rignt now

2020-04-29 15:59:38 UTC

No way, that cheap?

2020-04-29 15:59:40 UTC

That's a steal.

2020-04-29 15:59:53 UTC

My dad is a co owner of a range/gun store in south jersey

2020-04-29 15:59:59 UTC

Wholesale prices baby

2020-04-29 16:00:02 UTC

2020-04-29 16:00:08 UTC

I like the VP9, it's a good gun, sexy too. But I'd honestly, rather have a TP9 SFX

2020-04-29 16:00:15 UTC

Should also consider what holsters are available. Holsters are as important if not more important than the pistol

2020-04-29 16:00:27 UTC

More important.

2020-04-29 16:00:27 UTC

Available?

2020-04-29 16:00:38 UTC

Yeah, TP9 doesn't have a wide market for holsters yet, I had a buddy make one for me.

2020-04-29 16:00:47 UTC

Oh fuck. That didn’t go through my brain

2020-04-29 16:00:59 UTC

Custom kydex from a reputable brand such as darkstar gear, jm custom kydex, phlster, and a few others

2020-04-29 16:01:04 UTC

I kinda just assumed they had a decent variety

2020-04-29 16:01:22 UTC

You can custom order one. It won't be cheap, but it's a good pistol. I love it personally.

2020-04-29 16:01:34 UTC

And I've owned Glocks, Springfields, Sigs and M&Ps

2020-04-29 16:01:49 UTC

I was half looking at a Sig365 but those bitches are expensive

2020-04-29 16:01:50 UTC

Aliengear, soft nylon, serpa, and hybrid holsters are all shit. Good leather is expensive and shouldn't be used on a pistol without an external safety anyway.

2020-04-29 16:01:50 UTC

And a CZ75

2020-04-29 16:02:03 UTC

I’d like a Sig P320.

2020-04-29 16:02:08 UTC

Or a G19.

2020-04-29 16:02:35 UTC

I've got a 320, it's what I use for my main kit. And I have a G17, but I cut the handle down to fit G19 mags.

2020-04-29 16:02:49 UTC

So longer barrel, but better concealability and more mag choices

2020-04-29 16:02:54 UTC

smort

2020-04-29 16:03:10 UTC

@Sparrow I carry a Shield .40 and my wife carries my Shield 9. It’s hands down my favorite pistol I’ve owned

2020-04-29 16:03:23 UTC

M&P?

2020-04-29 16:03:26 UTC

I wanna get slide work done on it though. And yeah Hoddman, the Shield 9mm is my EDC

2020-04-29 16:03:31 UTC

Yeah, M&P

2020-04-29 16:03:34 UTC

Great conceal gun

2020-04-29 16:03:40 UTC

Sparrow do you have enough handguns?
