Lower parts kits
Geissele makes them pretty well.
I get the no name lpk no trigger of buffer assembly and get the geissele triple braid buffer and whatever nice trigger
I like Geisseles, CMMG, and homemade.
I figured I would use most of the stock parts kit and do the aftermarket stuff I wanted on my own.
Geiselle, colt hand select, or Sionics
I'm thinking aero complete upper. But I haven't decided on what to put in my lower.
Any of you guys messed with the LaRue UU kit?
I have one in the process now. Along with the stripped lower. Could be 2-4 months
But the Larue ultimate upper kit is 792$ comes assembled for free too right now
Add a stripped lower for 199$
The upper kit comes with everything needed for the lower
I know larues barrels are supposed be fairly good, but other than that I’m not sure what they bring to the table?
Well. I have 2 carbon fiber barrels coming this week hopefully!
Proof research?
They are supposedly tier 1 rifles. Idk I’ve always been a LWRC guy with a couple diamondbacks that were my firsts
Has anyone ever shot an Ar-47?
Definitely not hating on larue. I know like, 10 years ago, there wasn’t a lot of people making AR’s that accurate, but it’s pretty common now
@TonyB no, I respect stoner and Sullivan
I have an AR in 7.62x39
Yea I wouldn’t defend Larue or anything until I see what I get. I just hopped on the price
Really paid for the name I guess but I haven’t seen a bad thing about them besides the owner being a douche
Mine doesn’t take AK mags lol
Mine shoots 30 bullets in 1 second
Binary triggers are legal but really expensive do you guys think they would be feasible to make
Well just because I know the modularity of an ar-15 surpasses the Ak47 but wouldn’t 7.62 be an easier round to find?
I mean there’s some army sniper teams that run them
In the US? Hell no
5.56 then?
I mean like 5.56 is hard to find?
I don’t know lmao that’s why I’m asking
Both are extremely common.
And cheap
.223 and 5.56 is probably your best bet.. besides .22LR
5.56 is *at least* twice as common in the US as 7.62x39, without even counting that every major LE agency and the entire military uses it
Ah okay. Thanks guys
And I’m assuming 9mm is the go to sidearm caliber?
Yeah
Eh. Depends on the day 😂
