Yeah, well... the only reason I would wanna do it is because I consider the glock my field gun. Something I don't mind taking outside and getting knocked around.

I love my TP9SFX, it's my baby and I save it for competition shooting. And the P320 is cool.

But the glock... it works, I know it's tough, and I'm okay if it gets a little roughed up. It has a good track record.

This is why retention is important. Are you going to be doing backflips? No, probably not. You may be running, jumping, crawling, sliding, or doing any number of activities that could cause a pistol to fall out though. With the ALS, the pistol is held into place until you grab it, and your thumb naturally hits the release lever. It's like what serpa wanted to be if it was actually good.

Typically for concealed carry or some completions you want a level one retention holster. Open carry you want level 3.

1 is friction, 2 is manual operated, 3 is both combined, and apparently there's 4 but idk what it is other than it's not recommended for civilian use
