Don’t fuck with meeeee.

2020-05-03 21:35:06 UTC

Ahhh, I see.

2020-05-03 21:35:14 UTC

You only said shoulder cover boi

2020-05-03 21:35:26 UTC

How about 220 shipped next Saturday

2020-05-03 21:35:29 UTC

I should've known, you always go with the expensive shit.

2020-05-03 21:35:56 UTC

Both 308 and 6.5 are looking pretty good. I'm a bit torn as the 6.5 seems to perform a bit better but the 308 has a bit more support and better barrel life

2020-05-03 21:36:23 UTC

220 sounds fair. How used is it? Haha, wanna make sure I'm not getting a carrier tattered with holes.

2020-05-03 21:38:37 UTC

Oh nah, it’s been on a few ruck runs and to the range probably a half dozen times as an instructor/pso

2020-05-03 21:39:44 UTC

Let me get that helm

2020-05-03 21:40:02 UTC

Alright, normal wear and tear, but nothing too much. 220 include shipping?

2020-05-03 21:40:16 UTC

If you include the shipping, deal.

2020-05-03 21:54:23 UTC

that's actually a good idea for hanging a carrier

2020-05-03 21:55:22 UTC

might have to d that this coming weekend

2020-05-03 21:56:15 UTC

It’s maybe 36” of pvc, real easy

2020-05-03 21:56:46 UTC

cant remember what it's ccalled, purple liquid, meant to basically glue pvc together

2020-05-03 21:57:08 UTC

and a rattleccan paint job

2020-05-03 21:58:43 UTC

@Crye_Salesman im assuming a 4 way junction to kepp the helmet from falling?

2020-05-03 22:05:23 UTC

just realized it's called a cross-tee

2020-05-03 22:07:40 UTC

I think its called PVC cement

2020-05-03 22:07:41 UTC

Talked with another friend who lives where I do and they think 6.5 might be the way to go for me

2020-05-03 22:08:16 UTC

Do yourself a favor and buy PVC cutters, makes it easy af to cut

2020-05-03 22:14:45 UTC

I normally just use a saw. But cutters are good if you plan on doing a lot

2020-05-03 22:17:55 UTC

Having cut a lot of pvc, the cutters are definitely a good investment. They're cheap too.

2020-05-03 22:19:45 UTC

10 bucks doesn't sound too bad for cutters

2020-05-03 22:44:41 UTC

@Crye_Salesman what are you using the chem lights for?

2020-05-03 22:51:11 UTC

This isn’t something I typically do, but I’m lost. I don’t normally ask for help because I know quite a bit about gear. But I’m trying to decide whether I should invest into a better PC (I’m running Condor) or get my medical backpack squared away.

2020-05-03 22:51:20 UTC

> @Crye_Salesman what are you using the chem lights for?
@Ballsdini

Marking doorways, rooms that are cleared or not, casualty marking, there’s a variety of uses depending on your units SOPs.

2020-05-03 22:53:15 UTC

@[LA] Zoomer Medi/k/ I suspect that's what they're for but there are other applications that require large chem lights.

Blue Force Gear makes a mag-sized small chem light dispenser that holds a bunch of tiny ones. You just flick them off the top like unloading a mag. Much more compact, lighter, can carry way more, and aren't nearly as conspicuous. Let me find the link...

2020-05-03 22:55:00 UTC

Still lost on my next decision.

2020-05-03 22:55:27 UTC

I don’t know what PC I’d get, although I do know I probably need an upgrade.

2020-05-03 22:55:34 UTC

I’m a broke boi too

2020-05-03 22:56:21 UTC

@[LA] Zoomer Medi/k/ I have a Condor PC as well. The issue with it is basically shitty stitching. I re-stitched a bunch of it myself and its solid AF. Been running it for over a year with no issue. Holds a lot of gear too.

I'd get the med bag sorted before worrying about redoing the whole rig.

2020-05-03 22:57:29 UTC

I don’t even have a cummerbund : (

2020-05-03 22:58:08 UTC

Wat? Which PC is it? Mine has cumberbund and side plate pockets

2020-05-03 22:58:47 UTC

I have the Sentry..

2020-05-03 22:59:36 UTC

Zoomer, chemlights have a variety of functions within the military. From marking people, to locations, or even setting up a sleeping perimeter. We use chemlights around the sleep area so vics don't run over us at night.

2020-05-03 23:00:53 UTC

@[LA] Zoomer Medi/k/ What Budget are you looking at?

2020-05-03 23:01:40 UTC

100-150

2020-05-03 23:03:41 UTC

I was told medical pack would be priority though.

2020-05-03 23:09:38 UTC

@[LA] Zoomer Medi/k/ I'm not telling you what to do with your gear, brother. Just tossing it out there that Condors are totally serviceable if you pay some attention to them and qualified people with medical kits are always in short supply.
