Its much easier to field strip and clean an ak
Imho
Meh. Then I won't bother if there's no advantage.
I mean. It’s virtually the exact same thing as field stripping an AR.
And any higher level of maintenance than that is *astronomically* easier on the AR
@Bogs_Bunny it’s not that you should avoid pistons, it’s just that it’s not the game changer some people think it is
It costs more I think.
Most countries went with pistons because iirc they deemed DI as a weak link not because of dependability but AR gas tubes tended to melt before piston guns will
For obvious reasons as the gas tube was designed to fail before the damn gun
Carbon fiber gas tube
let’s do it
Piston guns are heavier, so that's +4 attack on bayonet charges 🤷♂️
If you’re running your AR hot enough to melt gas tubes in 2020 somethings wrong
Or things have gotten entirely out of hand
The zombies have breached the perimeter.
I love my wasr even though it has ugly plastic furniture and there's nothing you all can do about it
I’m an AK guy but the arguments of DI vs piston are still using Vietnam era data
I don't like wood furniture. Lol.
I want a PSA GF3 🥺
Get some top tier poly furniture for your wasr if you aren’t running wood
Reee
Quick post guns that’ll make AR fan bois scream
AAAAAAAAAAAA
I love those pictures tho
Dat bakelite
#imanoperator
When did they scan my sks for cod
Well. At least shopping for lower receiver parts won't affect if I go piston or DI.
>inb4 tarkov fanboi screams
My issue is finding an upper that isn't absurd. Not to mention all of the damn 80% lowers are sold out right now.
Only place that has uppers right now is PSA and uh...I'll pass.
@Soulraiser are you unarmed?
Y’all shoulda listened to sandy hook veterans when saying the time to buy was 2016-2018
*cries in 2010 .22Lr prices*
I was ultra poor then. @Bogs_Bunny Only small calibers here currently.
Now I'm only a little poor. Lol
