Yep I used to do fencing and still like it but the HEMA stuff is much more fun

2020-05-21 03:22:16 UTC

Pole arms and the sword and buckler are some of my favourites

2020-05-21 04:50:18 UTC

Anyone ever owned a Sig mpx? In here

2020-05-21 14:33:32 UTC

Haven't owned one but I've heard good things. Garand thumb has a video on it

2020-05-21 14:40:58 UTC

Well I'm on an email list for a receiver set that might not even exist lol

2020-05-21 14:42:57 UTC

I chose the CZ scorpion over the MPX

2020-05-21 14:43:12 UTC

I think they’re both good pros and cons to each as usual, but I love my scorpion

2020-05-21 14:54:25 UTC

^ Same

2020-05-21 14:54:37 UTC

Also no gas to the face when you run a silencer

2020-05-21 14:58:27 UTC

Alright guys

2020-05-21 14:58:45 UTC

Where does Armalite fall into the tier list of quality?

2020-05-21 15:00:08 UTC

The bottom?

2020-05-21 15:44:36 UTC

Ironic

2020-05-21 15:46:28 UTC

When ar stands for armalite but armalite's ar's are overpriced and low quality

2020-05-21 15:48:20 UTC

Pay for that stamp bb

2020-05-21 15:48:49 UTC

Lol, so whats the tier list again?

2020-05-21 15:52:14 UTC

There's a few and they're not end all be all, but a decent guideline

2020-05-21 15:55:41 UTC

It's somewhat subjective in the end

2020-05-21 15:59:44 UTC

Speaking of which. Are hodge components worth the wait? They seem to actually be fairly reasonable prices, but always out of stock.

2020-05-21 16:22:27 UTC

So what youre saying is I should scrap my DPMS 😬

2020-05-21 16:29:15 UTC

Yeeeeeeah they're not exactly decent

2020-05-21 16:30:25 UTC

C is around where serviceable is, though I'd argue spikes should be up there on C depending on the components

2020-05-21 16:30:28 UTC

I think that second list isn’t the best

2020-05-21 16:30:57 UTC

I like the first list

2020-05-21 16:31:07 UTC

Yeah i don't agree with some of the stuff on the second list

2020-05-21 16:31:16 UTC

I thought Colt was more paying for the roll mark than a actually decent rifle

2020-05-21 16:31:21 UTC

Guess i could build another

2020-05-21 16:31:34 UTC

Old colts were decent but they have shit qc these days

2020-05-21 16:32:02 UTC

Why are they high tier or C lol

2020-05-21 16:33:00 UTC

So honest question, I'm still learning a good bit, what makes a rifle shit tier vs. God tier

2020-05-21 16:33:14 UTC

Specs? QC?

2020-05-21 16:33:19 UTC

Materials?

2020-05-21 16:33:23 UTC

Tolerances, material quality, and qc

2020-05-21 16:34:17 UTC

And actually being *designed* not just slapped together

2020-05-21 16:34:29 UTC

Building things to an actual spec

2020-05-21 16:34:33 UTC

The super high end stuff you're paying for the tight tolerances and extensive qc. Middle of the road stuff has tolerances that won't cause your rifle to fail and don't make it out of the factory with defects

2020-05-21 16:35:11 UTC

Some companies you’re also paying for the R&D of enhancements

2020-05-21 16:35:11 UTC

Low end stuff has uhhhh

2020-05-21 16:36:00 UTC

I spent too much time making that graphic but i always laugh when i see it
