I don't say it racism based solely on the bf being charged. I think the racism comes into play in the lack of accountability from the pd, even the lack of acknowledged wrong doing in the raid itself. Id be willing to bet that some racist thought went into the "well, we killed this black lady, but if we just charge the guy with attempted murder of a cop, no one will ask any questions and we can totally get away with it." Thats where I see the racism. Its not even clear from the article if Kenneth is black. Just said hes a Legal gun owner who was responding to a violent home invasion.

And hes being punished for that. Because when the cops break into your home in the middle of the night, you need to know that its not ok to defend yourself. Because obviously it was the police smashing in the door, popping smoke and returning fire at 3am. Who else does that besides those sworn to uphold the constitution and protect innocent people

Id push for making any lawsuits for excessive force to come from police union retirement funds. That might actually get them to fucking pay attention and help with policing the police
