works correctly: ($guess \~~ @numbers);
always returns true: ($guess !\~~ @numbers);
what I have to do: not ($guess \~~ @numbers);
why is !~~ being a democrat?

OK PROBLEM HERE IS THAT YOU ARE INTERPRETING A LIST AS A STRING
DO YOU REMEMBER ORDER OF PRECEDENCE HERE?
$guess !-- numbers means $guess does not equal yes/no of "is there shit in this array"
i thought !~~ meant that $guess is not matched in array
as ~~ means that guess is in array
the question would be "is this shit in the array already"
I just did ! ($guess ~~ @array) instead
NO, THAT LOOKS TO THE NUMBER OF ELEMENTS IN THE ARRAY
COUNTER-INTUITIVE, I GRANT YOU THAT
this is the language you shit talked ruby over
~~ is working fine for true and false for looking for element in array
so why is the inverse different
I NEVER USE SMART MATCHING, BUT I THINK THIS EXPLAINS THE RISKS
SPEZ
IS GETTING RADICALIZED
Since Reddit's giving me some trouble logging in, how's the server raid going?
LOTS OF ANGRY POSTERS, NOT MUCH ELSE
