the symbol would be the form, the thing in itself, the real deal, information is a measurement or an attempt to communicate symbol

for example what is the true essence of a melody, the ineffable thing

it makes sense to me that it is symbol, of some higher form

the Symbol is refracted via the lens of individual understanding/appreciation

it's just an upside down version of what you are saying I think

as reality is conscious, and a person, it makes sense that some kind of ultimate thought forms precede "concrete" reality

SYMBOL IS A MEASUREMENT OF FORM.

FORM HAS SHAPE AND STRUCTURE

BOTH ARE IDEA, BUT THE SYMBOL IS A REPRESENTATION (OF A... OF A...)

When we assume the "information" is primary, then symbol encompasses the "form" concept I think

it's really interesting to think this way as well

the root issue is the relationship of my consciousness with reality

I rejected the picture you seem to present, when people are deluded it is because they create false selves

rather than an issue of information, understanding etc. (though those can also be elements)

so the more one is in touch with their true self, the more access they have to reality, the better their basic responses to stimulus
