That kind of ambition, for the ambition's sake, not for entirely selfish reasons, is what propelled Europeans to World domination

they are not less vain, they express less vanity

Asians are misunderstood a bit in this regard

they are more emotional and less in control than europeans

but it's all deep down, with authority ruling all social interaction

there are basically traditional scripts in a sense of dealing with people and situations

while this is the case for all peoples, it's extreme (relatively) in the asians
