well paganist attitudes were generally this: we don't care what individuals believe, as long as they respect customs and sacred places/stuff.

I think you're going to see the hard atheists flock back to it but other people looking for renewed religiousity will probably not become Christian if for nothing else than the fact that they've longsince abandoned those values

I respect that attitude

face it, the peak of the west was arguably a christian west

and the argument is mostly about LARPing

the christian west produced the greatest amount of great people

industrialization and modernity would not have been possible without that

that it cannibalizes itself is unfortunate, but not guaranteed

it's debatable how much christianity is responsible for our success, the argument that white people were good for christianity and not the other way around is just as valid. it doesn't matter though. i'm just trying to be pragmatic and think of what would be most effective. things can improve over time but we need speed right now.
