it yields almost all strength improvement and very little mass improvement, combined with a low calorie diet you end up light but hard as nails
as opposed to more mass focused exercise
the type of soreness is much different I notice
when I was doing mass building crap I would be fine the day of, then the day after I would be sore as hell 24/7 until it got better
this stuff, I am not sore, but if I try to move I am

so the exact difference was training 3-5x10 before, building mass, vs now training 15-20x1, not maximal lifts but real heavy
it worked to get me jacked, but at this point I basically believe that looking buff is a stupid goal
AGREED. GENERAL, ALL-PURPOSE STRENGTH IS THE GOAL
one thing that is interesting is the 20x1 style is more "food efficient"

I can tolerate 20x1 much better on a starvation diet, 5x10 required lots of food or I basically couldn't do it and would be sore forever until I just burned out

of course, I take supplements and the weight training helps that
