I would do it to make myself more comfortable with my thoughts/theories.
Not "Is this true or not?", but "Should I trust myself here or not"
same thing
"confirmatory" = "should I trust", "explanatory" = "is it true"
I'm speaking of the motive.
I don't want to confirm truths as much as wanting to confirm my truth finding abilities.
it's the same thing though isn't it
They're related. You'd want a car to go to places, you'd want your car working so that could happen.
Expanding the database, filling the car with more gas.
The point is to get to places, your caring about the later is a meta concern, a want not to be impeded.
in that case, it's about my own conceit primarily
honing myself
I noticed when playing lead lines it's efficient to sort of bar each note, so fretting requires less dexterity and thus you can do it faster
So now my left hand efficiency is much better, need to upgrade my picking

body builders are mentally ill
body building is just another manifestation of this psychotic imbecile "working hard all day to become a BETTER person" mentality
this violent fusion of modernity, working ethics and lack of a sense of purpose
