smart bjj guys are incorporating a lot of wrestling now
it has better takedowns
and practicing the pin generalizes to MMA well for ground & pound
yeah
I'm pretty sure that's why romans made that the winning maneuver
I'm mostly in it for the social hour and exercise
I want to start taking climbing more seriously
I don't know how to make my hands any stronger than they are
I've been eyeing these but I'm not convinced yet
my grip strength is pretty advanced but I want to know how climbers train theirs
I assume just by climbing a lot
yeah I used to do like drills on a little board with slots
just go up and down a bunch of times or whatever
the sim board?
what should I google to find similar drills?
like one of these
yeah
I will probably not buy the actual board
basically
this is a woman who can do pull ups and shit
I would do a lot of hangs from a series of different grips
holy shit this girl is hardass
she does typewriters
girls are the best climbers
they have no body weight
unless this is a tranny
great interview with rod: http://atavisionary.com/unused-mother-jones-interview-important-anti-democracy-neoreaction-altright/
wtf the more I look into it the more I see the rock climbing calisthenics people are the most hardass about upper body of anyone
this little old guy looks like he rides a bike on weekends and then he pulls this
weight lifting part is low effort though
yeah just browsing around I am seeing a lot of really surprisingly hardass stuff from climbers
well I guess it's not surprising really, it is an extreme sport
hey @UOC if you climb a ton do you even need to do pull ups anymore?
there are urban free climbers, urbex types out there who can climb brick walls using just the micro handholds
