well fallot is right, I pretty much am an ultimate narcissist

I don't know why that's so triggering though as everyone I know is one

I also have been effectively on my own for almost my whole life re: making anything work out

in my particular town and the people in the schools I was in, there was this thick fog of inertness

nobody would lift a finger to do anything they weren't already doing, which was mostly smoke/drink/skate/dirtbike/vidya

so if you had a desire to do anything else with your time at all, it required acting not only without the herd's help but in defiance of them

you could say that superimposed on the background of the sort of place I grew up, being defiant and self absorbed was a survival strategy and great virtue
