That's what I thought, it's not regular

2017-08-05 14:57:25 UTC

thanks @Platon et la MG42 it's a favorite

2017-08-05 15:00:22 UTC

@UOC anyways he touched on the gender disparity in law, basically said that women didn't want to have such a demanding career

2017-08-05 15:00:30 UTC

You probably already knew that

2017-08-05 15:02:33 UTC

WOMEN ARE THWARTED BECAUSE THEY NEED TO BREED

2017-08-05 15:02:40 UTC

SO AT ABOUT AGE 27, THEY ARE CHECKING OUT

2017-08-05 15:02:50 UTC

IF THEY ARE GOOD, THEY RETURN TEN YEARS OR FIFTEEN YEARS LATER

2017-08-05 15:02:54 UTC

IT'S INSANITY

2017-08-05 15:04:43 UTC

They return?

2017-08-05 15:05:05 UTC

What are a lawyer's prime years?

2017-08-05 15:05:18 UTC

I figure it would probably be 30s - 40s

2017-08-05 15:06:20 UTC

what are a free man's prime years?

2017-08-05 15:06:24 UTC

I guess all of them

2017-08-05 15:09:02 UTC

interesting

2017-08-05 15:09:18 UTC

out of the 20 manufacturers I emailed, 10 replied, and 5 are standing out way ahead of the others, with 1 in clear lead

2017-08-05 15:11:15 UTC

got a logo designed

2017-08-05 15:11:39 UTC

Women drop out of law for several reasons one of which is to have children, another is because it's hyper competitive by nature which women are less into, another of which is that they are less likely to have a skill set conducive to getting far in the law i.e. the ability to develop good arguments and the ability to think tactically about a case

2017-08-05 15:12:06 UTC

I would never want a woman who was psychologically capable of being a lawyer

2017-08-05 15:12:26 UTC

basically right

2017-08-05 15:12:43 UTC

I haven't met a decent one who enjoyed the lae

2017-08-05 15:12:47 UTC

law

2017-08-05 15:13:19 UTC

they're all scheming to get married and get out

2017-08-05 15:13:32 UTC

do pro bono family mediation work or something

2017-08-05 15:15:35 UTC

hahaha

2017-08-05 15:15:41 UTC

just like I am scheming to get out of medicine

2017-08-05 15:15:48 UTC

see... careers are a slavery nobody talks about much

2017-08-05 15:16:05 UTC

prozak is getting to the point of talking about how jobs are jails, but careers are like maximum security prison of the mind and social sphere

2017-08-05 15:16:34 UTC

you clock out of a job and go do what you want, but if you have a career it dominates every part of your life

2017-08-05 15:17:05 UTC

now you're the type of person who 99% of the time only socializes with career people, thinks in their free time about career stuff, and only has career related goals

2017-08-05 15:17:19 UTC

careers are in actual fact way worse than "mere" jobs

2017-08-05 15:18:08 UTC

a guy running a tractor for some construction outfit or working as a tradesman doesn't come home at night and stay up obsessing over every detail of his advancement in the world of his job, he just has a beer and sees what his friends are doing tonight

2017-08-05 15:25:27 UTC

crazy. I still have 14 hours before I pass out, and I already did all my ecommerce work

2017-08-05 15:29:23 UTC

This doesnt seem right

2017-08-05 15:30:00 UTC

You can have a career without those compromises and evil

2017-08-05 15:30:28 UTC

can you? I'm pretty sure most professional careers require you to do those things or else fall behind

2017-08-05 15:31:06 UTC

I know out here medical spergs are staying up until dawn hanging out with their fellow medical people, drinking and obsessing over the details of their future and how to do it

2017-08-05 15:31:25 UTC

that's all they do, study medicine, do medicine, then go drink with medical people to talk about their careers

2017-08-05 15:32:27 UTC

if you don't do it too, you end up outside the loop, and it's important to have information on a lot of strategic areas in this field

2017-08-05 15:40:52 UTC

"What causes this phenomenon? What we have to understand is that the human psyche and our physical environment are always in alignment with one another. The outside world reflects the inside world and vice versa. People today believe themselves to have no gender, but this assertion only makes sense in a world that denies them their gender in the first place. It's easy to believe men and women to be equal in an office environment where we live lives that are neither masculine nor feminine. It takes a very intellectually consistent feminist to believe such a thing in a trench."

also I hope lots of communist scum are murdered in cold blood at that rally on the 11th
