What game
@devolved DEPENDS ON HOW MANY MONTHS ARE INCLUDED
TOTAL DONATIONS OF 100K OVER ONE MONTH = 100K PER MONTH
OVER ONE YEAR = 8K/MO
Right
That's what I thought, it's not regular
thanks @Platon et la MG42 it's a favorite
@UOC anyways he touched on the gender disparity in law, basically said that women didn't want to have such a demanding career
You probably already knew that
WOMEN ARE THWARTED BECAUSE THEY NEED TO BREED
SO AT ABOUT AGE 27, THEY ARE CHECKING OUT
IF THEY ARE GOOD, THEY RETURN TEN YEARS OR FIFTEEN YEARS LATER
IT'S INSANITY
They return?
What are a lawyer's prime years?
I figure it would probably be 30s - 40s
what are a free man's prime years?
I guess all of them
interesting
out of the 20 manufacturers I emailed, 10 replied, and 5 are standing out way ahead of the others, with 1 in clear lead
got a logo designed
Women drop out of law for several reasons one of which is to have children, another is because it's hyper competitive by nature which women are less into, another of which is that they are less likely to have a skill set conducive to getting far in the law i.e. the ability to develop good arguments and the ability to think tactically about a case
I would never want a woman who was psychologically capable of being a lawyer
basically right
I haven't met a decent one who enjoyed the lae
law
they're all scheming to get married and get out
do pro bono family mediation work or something
hahaha
just like I am scheming to get out of medicine
see... careers are a slavery nobody talks about much
prozak is getting to the point of talking about how jobs are jails, but careers are like maximum security prison of the mind and social sphere
you clock out of a job and go do what you want, but if you have a career it dominates every part of your life
now you're the type of person who 99% of the time only socializes with career people, thinks in their free time about career stuff, and only has career related goals
careers are in actual fact way worse than "mere" jobs
a guy running a tractor for some construction outfit or working as a tradesman doesn't come home at night and stay up obsessing over every detail of his advancement in the world of his job, he just has a beer and sees what his friends are doing tonight
crazy. I still have 14 hours before I pass out, and I already did all my ecommerce work
This doesnt seem right
You can have a career without those compromises and evil
can you? I'm pretty sure most professional careers require you to do those things or else fall behind
