It probably started with good intentions, but eventually became bloatware

as it was protected by law and allowed to be inefficient

because other superior methods were illegal

Do you know someone who wants to teach you? Too bad, you still have to waste 9 years

Those who operated this bloatware system benefited from it existing

PEOPLE ARE LOOKING FOR EXTERNAL SOLUTIONS

"OH, PEOPLE ARE MORONS? LET'S **EDUCATE** THEM."

BUT THEN IT ENDS UP BEING A QUEST IN ITSELF

AND DENIES THE FUNDAMENTAL FACT THAT MOST PEOPLE ARE NOT READY FOR THIS

It is important to place people in good positions in society

To guide the descendants

They're just doing it wrong

Part of what's wrong is treating everyone the same, as if they are the same

People aren't being taught how to think and are more often than not prevented from doing so.

For years, you're not really being taught anything, in my experience and from what I've heard from Americans

I don't even know what the point of it is

I suppose you do learn some mathematics

But reading shitty novels is a waste of time

Then after wasting a lot of time, you can learn something real in college

Or you can continue wasting time, and giving people money for it

Absurd

it is absurd. homeschooling is one of the most effective things people can do to fight back. it's a strong power base in the states. it's becoming easier and easier to produce children that are relative geniuses compared to their peers.
