I figured out the first algorithm for life, grass then flowers

When I got the recursive branch generating algorithm to work I could make vegetation GROW without me having to model every twig or leaf

This was the very first successful attempt at the procedural vegetation code

YOU HAVE TO BE THIS HIGH TO SEE THE HORIZON CURVING.

I got good entire forests grew on their own, I had literally become God, I had created life in a machine world I then started to ponder was I created the same way, God's a lazy bastard he made the basic code gave us free will and we did the rest all on our own.

@Human Sheeple You can do procedural generation too, so its different everytime it draws 😃

I wanted to make the terrain spherical I dug into flat earth, turns out the way I had modelled the terrain originally was actually what I was living on

2019-03-15 05:24:34 UTC

@wobblyboost No two trees are the same

2019-03-15 05:24:56 UTC

Yes.

2019-03-15 05:27:55 UTC

Yes you can.

2019-03-15 05:28:00 UTC

Thank you for asking.

2019-03-15 05:28:56 UTC

And there's the computational DNA

2019-03-15 05:30:15 UTC

looks easy . hahaha

2019-03-15 05:30:22 UTC

long winded

2019-03-15 05:30:40 UTC

once you've mastered how to code procedural triangles that's the first hurdle

2019-03-15 05:30:41 UTC

its similar to CnC axis coding

2019-03-15 05:32:06 UTC

Not too dissimilar, however you've lumped in a recursive tree algorithm ironically to make a tree once you've got your two branches you do a probability algorithm to make a branch or not, and each branch also has a chance to fork and make a branch or not eventually if the tree reaches n many recursions it will make a stump although there's always a probability of a stump anything after 3 iterations down

2019-03-15 05:32:33 UTC

So you make a circle where every other vertex has a smaller diamter than the outer to make fake roots

2019-03-15 05:32:34 UTC

why is my dick hard

@awab fadl try adding intellectually to the conversation

2019-03-15 05:33:13 UTC

Show me your manifold papi

2019-03-15 05:33:15 UTC

you make a circle above that and you mesh the triangles, push the normals push the uv maps to the stack when you get to the next layer you have to go back to the previous layer to calculate the normals

2019-03-15 05:33:38 UTC

@imreallygay#7066 -- stop the bs, m'kay

2019-03-15 05:33:44 UTC

lol musta left

2019-03-15 05:33:47 UTC

so you grow the branch then you go back a layer to recalculate the normals of the vertices on the previous branch

2019-03-15 05:33:58 UTC

lets do it, i'm an aussie
