well each side has a valid argument and each side says that their side is fact. so if we all just stop arguing and keep to ourselves maybe this whole debate can be over! if we all just make a formal agreement to respect the other side we can come to a middle ground and say that people believe differently.

Let me try again. Judge Dredd, the scientific method is what determines proof, and requires 3 things. Observation, measurement, and experiment. We do not observe a curve, we do not measure a curve, and we can only experiment with models where water always seeks to find and maintain it’s level. Flat earth passes all 3 steps. Ball earth 0 steps. Therefore, flat earth is provable, and ball earth is not.
