Vsauce is the master of logical fallacies, gravity = globe, globe = gravity.

🤤

2019-04-13 20:06:41 UTC

I was just referring to his simulation video

2019-04-13 20:06:49 UTC

if earth is flat then how do you explain lunar eclipses?

Ah ok

2019-04-13 20:06:51 UTC

Vsauce3 that is

@Thicc James Polarized superimposition of light waves

@Hamburger Guy don't usually watch him but will check it out

@Credibly Charted The sun is far smaller and far less powerful. Take a candle, for example. The light doesn't travel infinitely far. Same with the sun.

2019-04-13 20:07:48 UTC

If the floor causes the shadow, you should be able to cast your own custom shadow on the moon right? So why don't you

2019-04-13 20:08:10 UTC

It does as long as nothing obstructs it

2019-04-13 20:08:21 UTC

The only problem is scattering

2019-04-13 20:08:34 UTC

difference between a candle and sun is that the sun is a massive extremely powerful star and a candle is well a candle

2019-04-13 20:08:39 UTC

Take for instance lasers

2019-04-13 20:09:33 UTC

Why do you think the earth is flat?

2019-04-13 20:09:38 UTC

I’m just wondering

Interesting how shadows are not smaller than the object casting it, as well.

2019-04-13 20:09:41 UTC

@Camhog69 It just measures flat

2019-04-13 20:09:47 UTC

Ah

2019-04-13 20:09:50 UTC

I see

You can have your opinion

2019-04-13 20:10:18 UTC

@🍄The Mad Philosopher🍄 A candle isn't the sun and it isn't the same thing, a candle has a weaker light source being fire [depending on how you light it], the sun for example would shine in every direction even if it was smaller as you claim it to be

2019-04-13 20:10:26 UTC

brilliant <:whopinged:489114411387191296>

2019-04-13 20:10:34 UTC

Maybe it’s something to do with gravity

2019-04-13 20:10:38 UTC

@🍄The Mad Philosopher🍄 depends on distance between light and object

2019-04-13 20:10:44 UTC

@Camhog69 what's gravity?

2019-04-13 20:10:48 UTC

Well the sun is made out of plasma...

2019-04-13 20:10:54 UTC

You actually all need to go to Specsavers mate

@Credibly Charted a candle lights in every direction, what are you talking about?

2019-04-13 20:10:59 UTC

@Hamburger Guy Can I see your sample of the sun please?

2019-04-13 20:11:08 UTC

Does anyone here have an actual life?

2019-04-13 20:11:09 UTC

Gravity is what pulls you down to earth

2019-04-13 20:11:09 UTC

Just as it does now with shinning in every direction, it's not a spotlight in certain areas
