@carlito in open world games the entire world isn't being rendered at once. Only your immediate surroundings. Jurk your head left, everything to the side of you is suddenly rendered.
There is a really good Vsauce3 video on it
they are less intensive coding then
How does it work on the flat earth? And a reasonable explanation please
@Hamburger Guy Elder scrolls is a flat realm. Even in lore.
Vsauce is the master of logical fallacies, gravity = globe, globe = gravity.
🤤
I was just referring to his simulation video
if earth is flat then how do you explain lunar eclipses?
Ah ok
Vsauce3 that is
@Thicc James Polarized superimposition of light waves
@Hamburger Guy don't usually watch him but will check it out
@Credibly Charted The sun is far smaller and far less powerful. Take a candle, for example. The light doesn't travel infinitely far. Same with the sun.
If the floor causes the shadow, you should be able to cast your own custom shadow on the moon right? So why don't you
It does as long as nothing obstructs it
difference between a candle and sun is that the sun is a massive extremely powerful star and a candle is well a candle
Take for instance lasers
Why do you think the earth is flat?
I’m just wondering
Interesting how shadows are not smaller than the object casting it, as well.
@Camhog69 It just measures flat
Ah
I see
You can have your opinion
@🍄The Mad Philosopher🍄 A candle isn't the sun and it isn't the same thing, a candle has a weaker light source being fire [depending on how you light it], the sun for example would shine in every direction even if it was smaller as you claim it to be
brilliant <:whopinged:489114411387191296>
Maybe it’s something to do with gravity
@🍄The Mad Philosopher🍄 depends on distance between light and object
@Camhog69 what's gravity?
Well the sun is made out of plasma...
You actually all need to go to Specsavers mate
