@haxrin Ship going off to sea, this one is easy 😄 ships go out on the sea, and since they are at "sea level" it means they are low on the horizon, perspective and atmospheric conditions at sea level work their "magic" waves close by can easily obscure a ship in the far distance, and since the air is densest near the surface, it has lots of particles that distort the light passing through it, creating mirror effects or just bending the light in different directions away from you, making the ship invisible
