you can carry WAY more 5.56 than .308

I just want something in an AK platform because I've fired an AR15 and an AK and I like the AK better

.308 is expensive to shoot

and to get a semi auto one you're gonna spend over $1k to get one thats good

that said, I think .308 is a great choice for bolt action rifle

just get a 7.62x39 AK
