"We colonized New York
It was called New Amsterdam at first"

2019-12-15 14:21:36 UTC

Not true

2019-12-15 14:24:56 UTC

Giovanni da Verrazzano, who gave his name to the bridge at the entrance to New York Bay, was an Italian in the service of King Francis I of France. He was the first to discover the current New York, he stopped there but did not build anything and called the place "Nouvelle-Angoulême" "New Angoulême" then the Dutch actually arrived and renamed the place New Amsterdam. But the French were the first.

2019-12-15 14:26:20 UTC

Okay excuse me didn’t know that

2019-12-15 22:24:42 UTC

I prefer anyone but Emily Thornbury as Labour leader

2019-12-15 22:25:30 UTC

She is a despicable piece of trash that shits over anyone who disagrees with her or are patriotic about their nation

2019-12-15 22:25:52 UTC

She's someone that called a van driver that had the English flag up a racist

2019-12-15 23:52:44 UTC

@Wayne You do know I was only joking, right?

2019-12-15 23:54:10 UTC

And actually, America is not one continent but is instead split into North and South
Checkmate, yankee

2019-12-15 23:54:46 UTC

And yes, Emily Thornberry would be a disastrous Labour leader

2019-12-15 23:58:30 UTC

But it can be somehow worse- it could be Diane "Mathematician" Abbott

```In the first televised debate with Boris Johnson on November 22, Corbyn tried to answer accusations that he had no position on Brexit by claiming he would be a neutral “honest broker” in any future referendum. Yet despite his admirable efforts to defend the integrity of his personal position, no one could doubt that the call for a re-vote was itself motivated by Remainers’ pressure and that Corbyn had been forced to cave to their will. In the 2017 campaign, insisting that Labour would uphold the Brexit vote, Corbyn neutralized the issue of Brexit and forced Remainers to choose Labour or Tory. By December 2019, the call for a second referendum had effectively neutralized him.```
2019-12-17 07:47:17 UTC
And what could go wrong...
2019-12-17 07:47:23 UTC
```This defeat is not forever, and the Labour Party is not simply what it was before 2015. Even with only weak structural changes in the party, the activists mobilized since Corbyn’s first election will at least allow pushback against a turn to the right and ensure that socialism remains a lasting force within Labour ranks. But their effectiveness will also depend on a reckoning with the forces that worked, however deliberately, to neutralize Corbynism. If we want to turn our fortunes around — and reenergize those who didn’t turn out on Thursday — the last thing we need is to elect one of the supporters of the disastrous second referendum campaign.```

2019-12-17 07:47:45 UTC

Looks like the Corbynites will never admit reality.

2019-12-17 07:48:32 UTC
2019-12-17 07:49:46 UTC

nope

2019-12-17 07:49:54 UTC

They think 2017 was down to Corbyn's great leadership rather than divisions in the Tories.

2019-12-17 07:50:28 UTC

I still think trannies are a big part of it

2019-12-17 07:50:41 UTC

2019-12-17 07:57:42 UTC

Blame the Jews...really helping their case.

2019-12-17 07:58:32 UTC

```Following the defeat of the Labour party, the Baroness took to Facebook on December 13 to blame the loss on the country's Jewish community.
"The Chief Rabbi [sic] must be dancing in the street. The pro Israel lobby won our General Election by lying about Jeremy Corbyn," she said in a post, hinting at an op-ed published by The Times last November by UK's Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis, saying that "Jeremy Corbyn [is] not fit for high office." ```
2019-12-17 08:00:28 UTC
she has a long history of beefing with them looks like
2019-12-17 08:00:36 UTC
Yep.
2019-12-17 08:01:49 UTC
It doesn't help Labour though, when they are trying to desperately still deny that their party and supporters are obsessed about the Jews.
2019-12-17 08:02:57 UTC
She all but blurted out a neo-Nazi talking point i.e. a Jewish political conspiracy that dominates the country.
2019-12-17 08:04:45 UTC
Like people really needed the Jew hate allegations to be sick of Labour and Corbyn. They were shit for way more obvious reasons.
2019-12-17 10:51:01 UTC
chaps
2019-12-17 10:51:03 UTC
