do you mean real, lockean liberalism, or the weird american version of liberalism that doesn't mean anything?
Hi
Can someone help me understand how the electoral college system works (not from the US)?
Why would you wanna know?
So from what I understand, if you win the popular votes in a state, you win all the EC votes in that state
Just curious
it's not exactly a system you should be inspired by
And the number of EC votes for a state is determined by the number of representatives and senators for that state
GG @SlayerDarth, you just advanced to level 1!
Yes
But because every state gets two senators, the numbers are a bit wonky
Yeah
But then the number of reps is determined by the size of the state
So California has too little Electoral Points
And other states have too many
@TheBritishGamer ❤🔑 (Meh) u alright, mate
I thought California had more EC votes though, because it has a lot of representatives
representative parliament where you distribute seats according to d'hondt's method is the best we got imo.
Brits
Good
We just need to be able to vote for more than 1 person and we're good.
North or south @TheBritishGamer ❤🔑 (Meh)
