Every single interviewee on #Panorama last night was a pro-Labour activist before the pandemic. Every single one. It was a party political broadcast on behalf of the Labour Party.

Because the PPE thing is a fundamental failure of the entire supply chain, not just the federal governments of various countries

I think stockpile laws need to be implemented for critical systems (essential has been coopted to mean restaurants so I use critical to mean actually essential if that makes sense) in case of emergencies but I mean, we've been running on variations on the JIT delivery model for a long time, it would have been hard to just say "You have to stockpile shit" to companies before an actual disaster. And we also needed all roads to stop leading back to china because they control way too much global supply.

Interestingly enough, the government over here in Serbia is a Right-Wing Populist one.

At least that is what wikipedia says, i feel its more of an Oligarchy if not straight up a dictatorship.
