That gives them an edge

2018-12-11 19:56:22 UTC

Orange man bad and Brexit means brexit

2018-12-11 19:56:32 UTC

Are a huge wasteful distraction

2018-12-11 19:56:32 UTC

@beyond_gravity it hardly gives them an edge

2018-12-11 19:56:38 UTC

and thats really not an Plan economy

2018-12-11 19:56:48 UTC

They don’t need to worry about voters and pleasing the populace

2018-12-11 19:57:26 UTC

And don’t underestimate planning ahead

2018-12-11 19:57:32 UTC

That’s how you get the biggest edge

2018-12-11 19:58:38 UTC

It’s like we are fiddling with little stones and they have the boulder ready

2018-12-11 19:58:57 UTC

I hope the west success but I see trouble ahead

2018-12-11 20:01:51 UTC

How many scientists get paid to give climate change is a problem studies

2018-12-11 20:02:03 UTC

How many get paid to say there’s no problem...

2018-12-11 20:07:31 UTC

how many scientist get paid at all?

2018-12-11 20:07:44 UTC

there is a chronic under-funding of science

2018-12-11 20:08:15 UTC

```They don’t need to worry about voters and pleasing the populace``` not sure that is always the best thing to have
2018-12-11 20:08:22 UTC
*cough Tianmen
2018-12-12 00:25:34 UTC
No amount of money can fix climate change its the way the earth works the polar ice caps melt then we freeze then rinse and repeat
2018-12-12 00:35:41 UTC
I sure hope you are right
2018-12-12 00:37:00 UTC
Well its happened before that's what the last ice age was before it
2018-12-12 01:06:21 UTC
Well the fact that we have managed to initiate another ice age before its due kinda proves the point.
2018-12-12 01:07:58 UTC
@Deleted User we didn't initiate it its how the earth goes the earth melts the ice caps water rises it freezes then its slowly starts to thaw ...its not humans fault
2018-12-12 01:09:40 UTC
@Deleted User and we didn't initiate the last one bcs we hardly knew what fire was
2018-12-12 01:10:23 UTC
Problem is we are shooting a metric ass ton of carbon into the atmosphere that hasn't been there since T-Rex roamed the planet.
Might be a problem for us humans living on a planet that hot.
2018-12-12 01:12:58 UTC
@Tyberius D I agree with you I would love to find a better way to fix it but really its to little to late we just have to hope we survive this and learn from our mistakes next time
2018-12-12 01:15:17 UTC
Oh it's not getting fixed. Just hope runaway green house doesn't happen.
2018-12-12 01:18:23 UTC
I dont understand what you just said?
2018-12-12 01:21:45 UTC
@jeff4121999 Tyberious is implying via carbon recycling, renewable resources & more ways to resource materials human use and dispose of daily; we can help the planet before its too late.
2018-12-12 01:22:38 UTC
The entire **REASON** its too late is because of: war and money. That's it. Huge oil companies that know eventually their industries will run out of fossil fuels to use and BE DOOMED and that's why they are milking it as much as they can as of right now.
2018-12-12 01:22:39 UTC
Negative
2018-12-12 01:22:56 UTC
Solar energy, hydroelectric, wind and geo-thermal will take over as primary power sources.
2018-12-12 01:23:33 UTC
I'm saying climate change will not get fixed, so I hope it's not as bad as some folks think it we are gonners.
2018-12-12 01:23:39 UTC
Aw no yeah Tyberious is right. Read that wrong, my bad 😂
2018-12-12 01:25:19 UTC
I agree guys it is to late but wouldn't you think if we survive this ice age don't you think we can learn and not fuck the planet up as bad
2018-12-12 01:35:43 UTC
Did the new generations learn from WW1, WW2, Vietnam, The Cold War, Chernobyl etc?
2018-12-12 01:35:56 UTC
I don't think they have EVEN WITH history at their disposal to learn.
2018-12-12 05:44:23 UTC
dude wasnt there a LIA
2018-12-12 05:46:30 UTC
2018-12-12 05:52:31 UTC
It’s hard to believe that solar energy or *wind* energy will become a primary source in the near because theyre efficiencies are just soo bad
2018-12-12 07:45:57 UTC
@Minimarshmallo They're not bad though.
2018-12-12 07:46:11 UTC
The mars rover literally uses sonar panels to power it and so does the space station mate.
