And vegetables and grains and probably drink some water too

2019-08-01 23:18:00 UTC

I think per square foot of space regulated to producing food, growing stuff is more efficient than livestock

2019-08-01 23:18:03 UTC

Idk you want a menu?

2019-08-01 23:18:21 UTC

But yeah, making meat go away isn't really part of the discussion usually

2019-08-01 23:18:51 UTC

@Dr.Cosby it is but also not relevant to what i said

2019-08-01 23:18:59 UTC

Like thats its own debate

2019-08-01 23:19:33 UTC

I suppose so

2019-08-01 23:19:59 UTC

You can debate climate change itself and then you can debate solutions

2019-08-01 23:20:06 UTC

This guy wants to debate veganism

2019-08-01 23:20:13 UTC

Which i explicitly said im not for

2019-08-01 23:20:17 UTC

Hes a charlatan

2019-08-01 23:20:48 UTC

I think it's more likely that he's just confused

2019-08-01 23:21:12 UTC

I like to give the benefit of the doubt, up to a certain point

2019-08-01 23:22:38 UTC

To a point but when i say im not for vegetarianism and he says "so of you dont eat me how will we not starve" i have to question...

2019-08-01 23:28:33 UTC

growing cattle on one acre is alot more efficient than growing veggies at least where i am, i work on a family owned cow calf farm and we also grow a bit of corn for feed. we cant survive on just crops and neither can our economy.

2019-08-01 23:32:08 UTC

Many other sources of similar information, but it's also pretty obvious stuff.

2019-08-01 23:32:53 UTC

We eat animals because they are tastier, not because they are more "efficient" (ESPECIALLY with modern farming technology)

2019-08-01 23:43:06 UTC

i dont think your qualified to tell me about this because you live in or around seattle

2019-08-01 23:43:44 UTC

i live on the other side of the country

2019-08-02 00:02:33 UTC

I'm not qualified to give you the scientifically backed up facts?

2019-08-02 00:02:44 UTC

I'm not doing independent research here.

2019-08-02 00:02:57 UTC

Your anecdotal experience has little meaning in this conversation.

2019-08-02 00:03:26 UTC

It is a FACT that plant-based food is more space and energy efficient than meat-based food.

2019-08-02 00:04:10 UTC

They aren't taking livestock into outer space - it's NOT efficient. It's a luxury, plain and simple.

2019-08-02 00:07:03 UTC

I could post more links, but I already posted a pretty good one just above - you can do your own research.

2019-08-02 00:10:01 UTC

Meat is a premium luxury. You can find me a corner case such as nomadic herders (can't grow crops, rely on livestock) - but just like your fallacy about me not being "qualified" to discuss this topic, that is also a fallacy.

2019-08-02 01:09:44 UTC

Im sorry but @Mr. Lewis i have said 3 seperate times now, all in response to you, that I am not arguing for a reduction in meat consumption. Perhaps those west of missourri are so unqualified to tell you about "this stuff" that you haven't even read my responses?

2019-08-02 01:11:02 UTC

Now if you are willing to actually engage with me as a human being then i might be more inclined to respect you. Otherwise youre no longer worth my time. Throwing shit at wall is a better use of my time.

2019-08-02 02:11:37 UTC

sorry i only want to enage with you as a dog or maybe a parrot or like a deer, but not as a human.sorry for the inconvenience. 🙁

2019-08-02 02:12:44 UTC

Thats okay @Mr. Lewis thanks for tainting the water with your shit for the 23rd year in a row

2019-08-02 02:14:14 UTC

but seriously i wasnt really talking to you anymore i was talking to dr cosby

2019-08-02 02:15:11 UTC

i also wasnt treating you in an inhumane way

2019-08-02 02:17:35 UTC

but to dr cosby meat isnt a luxury humans need meat to survive sure we could grow more crops on one acre but when it comes down to it humans need protein.

2019-08-02 04:39:56 UTC

And the most efficient source of protein per acre is also plants...

2019-08-05 01:49:41 UTC

nice abstract

2019-08-05 14:00:58 UTC

It may say that but I believe in it either way
