China can't feed itself, so choking off their population down so sustainable levels is doable from the outside if things came to that, Some countries in Europe can, some can, in the net it's a bit unclear due to foreign imports

2019-12-19 13:19:46 UTC

Nah, the migrants aren't causing this problem, it's the opposite. THe West's use of energy is causing the migration

2019-12-19 13:20:01 UTC

If you want to actually talk some sense into us give us back our culture and our white families

2019-12-19 13:20:07 UTC

The West is affecting what happens in those other areas, making resource fights unavoidable

2019-12-19 13:20:29 UTC

This was predicted decades ago, some believe it was intentional for various reasons

2019-12-19 13:20:50 UTC

For example, if Europe was so thirsty for natural Gas, there wouldn't be any Syrian migrant crisis

2019-12-19 13:21:01 UTC

same for nuclear fuel from central Africa causing that turmoil, etc

2019-12-19 13:21:16 UTC

Putin came to power in russia by writing papers and talking about exactly these dynamics

2019-12-19 13:21:21 UTC

Africa has been poor forever bro. Its almost like its wanting itself to be poor. for example black people sell and own slaves

2019-12-19 13:21:39 UTC

Being poor is one thing, but poor people don't cause climate change

2019-12-19 13:21:48 UTC

And egyptians kill each other for speaking against islam

2019-12-19 13:22:05 UTC

But Western energy consumption affects the biosphere in those locations, causing the migrant problems because it hurts their sustainability

2019-12-19 13:22:28 UTC

Its not some dumb celcius things or west takeover that destroys all of africa at once. Its their culture

2019-12-19 13:22:31 UTC

A major problem were Western fishing fleets in African waters , etc,

2019-12-19 13:22:48 UTC

Their culture is irrelevant to thermodynamics my friend

2019-12-19 13:23:43 UTC

Animals are obviously 'dumb', they don't destroy the biosphere the same way because their energy usage is limited to their own bodies, usually smaller than the 70-90 watts human bodies operate around

2019-12-19 13:23:48 UTC

Well gues what the west is just doing a bit of crime by fishing in their waters but hey thats what the africans deserve for not having a military

2019-12-19 13:24:28 UTC

And plus migrants arent caused by something. Migrants are caused by taking in and accepting people into your own country

2019-12-19 13:24:42 UTC

Which needs to stop

2019-12-19 13:24:50 UTC

(((Europe)))

2019-12-19 13:25:06 UTC

Except for hungary and poland... theyre not (((them)))

2019-12-19 13:25:13 UTC

Some African countries have powerful militaries, which isn't necessarily anything to be happy or sad about. The issue doesn' tjust affect Africa is the point, though. What you do in one place affects the rest of the Earth, it's a mostly closed system except for solar radiation in and radiating away waste heat

2019-12-19 13:25:50 UTC

The WEstern industrialization and energy pursuit is what causes the reasons for migration, stopping them at the border or not is another issue

2019-12-19 13:26:13 UTC

Denying them at the border would probably increase radicalization back in the home countries, leading to a more serious security threat

2019-12-19 13:26:20 UTC

2019-12-19 16:39:51 UTC

Wait did he say we pollute because of migrants?

2019-12-19 16:41:10 UTC

When its the massive industrialization we have that has become fundamental to the production and employment of citizens and their well-being and the reliance on consumerism to keep our economy running?

2019-12-19 16:47:18 UTC

It's the other way around. The pollution and industrialization instigates much of hte migration, it's part of the wars and the enviornmental damage causes pollution pressure as well

2019-12-19 16:48:17 UTC

we don't need that much industrialization to have a high standard of living, it's partly a subsidy to the 1% at the expense of workers that would garner a better bargaining position in with less industrialized methods, like in farming

2019-12-19 16:48:38 UTC

the externalities are socialized, compounding the problem

2019-12-19 16:48:38 UTC

GG @Sh0t, you just advanced to level 38!

2019-12-19 16:49:45 UTC

the Syrian war migrants for example are directly related to Europe's energy consumption. the underlying pipeline issue is mostly a Western European issue, despite using the US as a proxy there

2019-12-19 16:50:47 UTC

there is no real need, and it's obviously impossible, to keep focusing on growth that depends completely on more energy input. accepting that fact and realigning would help everybody involved, but the relative position of certain entrenched interests would change

2019-12-19 16:51:29 UTC

those entrenched interests are the ones sponsoring the 'brainwashing' of anti environmentalists, as is shown time-and-time again by many sides, including some right-wing environmentalists

2019-12-19 21:29:57 UTC

Europeans being environmentalists. That is Ironic
