'rich' people dont' create that many jobs, most are small businesses started with credit
trickle down was part of a larger scam package that included those crazy interest rates and inflation targets

Aliens must be using flies to see us humans
And maybe when flies eat food the food gets sent to aliens so aliens could eat human food
And maybe Flies are supposed to be annoying to see how aggressive us humans act if aliens were to attack us
Flies are just enjoying themselves...but, there is an argument here...
With our backwoods tech...we have "bugs" that are bugs...
Huh?
Bugs are supposed to be bugs
Huh
Fact is, is that Of course Australia was going to have a fire problem
They decided to build cities around a desert and planted trees and dried soil and they expect it not to catch fire?
Kinda hard not to have a fire problem when people are purposely setting fires everywhere
180+ arrested for arson
Right but I have a background in meteorology as well. Greenland High blocking in America looped around with the cycle which lead to above average temperature in Australia and little to no rain.
Hard with these blocking setups for rain to be produced in certain areas because it blocks off upper winds and vertical motion
Creates more of a sinking effect
Which dissipates cloud cover
Didn't Australia have a similarly super hot and dry summer in the 1850's?
Why do you think the natives in Australia had the darkest pigmentation? Super hot environments do that to you over a period of generations.
Don't believe that "heat" does anything to the pigmentation, but the sun light exposures, UV rays mainly changes peoples melanin, and a period of generations your DNA will adapt to over produce melanin to darken the skin.

Interesting model from NASA ... on how much the sea level will rise based upon Antarctica Glacier using their models. So, baring that no other major changing event, at least in my life time I'll only have to worry about 6" https://vesl.jpl.nasa.gov/sea-level/slr-uplift/
yea true
@Chameleon 6" still bad.
not where I live
but there's no stopping mother nature @Throttles
We can reduce enhanced climate change so it's not mother nature @Chameleon
No you cannot, you may try to impact certain aspects as to a few related causes of the planet warming, but the ultimate factor is one super volcano erupts and the whole effort the human "reduction" is for nothing. Mother nature cannot be stopped. But yes, picking up the trash in the oceans, and planting trees can help the animals living in those areas.
Cham, you cannot, with a straight face and clear conscience, tell me that the way we are living as a society and as a planet is correct. It is undeniable that we are having an excessively negative impact on our environment.
That said, much of this "debate" about climate science is about ignorance and power.
I don't disagree that our society is ruining our immediate environment, and our farms and our use of products made from resources that are not renewable or biodegradable will negate our ability to reuse the land we occupy. Let alone what we do to the oceans. Can we help sure, but saying all this helps prevent climate change is farce.
Lol you can’t prevent climate change it is naturally occurring
@Chameleon Hence why I said enhanced climate change and what makes you say we can't stop nature? What if we develop the technology to do so?
@Throttles you really think that's a responsible idea to develop technology to control / stop nature? So who will be in control of this technology? Enhanced climate change is just a pig dressed up in a dress and lipstick. Sure it looks nice in a model but the pig will be a pig and the climate will do what it will do. As to bettering the environment I do support. But not with the intentions of effecting "climate change", but to sustain as much of the land and seas we have left.
@Chameleon sure. We can develop a space station and live there.
Do you know what enhanced climate change is?
