@Tyberius D who/what is Zeihan? OH! Zeihan is the guy I quoted earlier. I actually don't know that much about him, but he is someone I want to watch more closely in the future. I follow Scott Adams and he retweeted Peter Zeihan.

Zeihan is the guy who got me into Geopolitics, and the reason I am back in school for economics
Scott Adams is the creator of Dilbert. He wrote a few books including "Win Bigly". He's a hypnoist and economist as well. He's big into persuasion, and a big Trump supporter. He predicted Trump would win.
I highly recommend his periscopes. They go on about 9 am ET every day usually, but sometimes it varies.

It dosent work like that
Other sources of power are nowhere near as reliable as fossil fuels
They don't produce as much energy as readily and are less easily stored
That's why we can't rely on them at the moment
So it's not a simple as "the price will rise so tha market will switch to sustainable energy"
It's too late by the point that fossil fuels start to run out
Also you can't run vehicles off of power sources like wind and solar
Renewable energy needs lots of funding and years of scientific research still to be a viable replacement to fossil fuels
It's just ridiculous how dependant on fossil fuels we are and that cannot be understated
The same logic applies to nuclear because that has plenty of problems on its own
Nuclear power stations are huge pieces of infrastructure and you can't simply build one when the market feels like it
They take years upon years to assemble and even longer to disassemble
Plus a whole host of environmental problems
All this stuff is why we need investment in these new sources of energy now
And we need to put focus on them now
So that we are prepared when we can no longer rely on fossil fuels

As far as I know he's got nowhere in his trade war with China
Admittedly he's been decent at diplomacy in Korea
But he's also done some really stupid shit
Like try to implement a ban on people coming from muslim countries to "stop terrorism" when not a single one of the countries that one of the 911 attackers came from was on the list
He tried to ban transgender people from the military claiming it "costed too much" when the millitary spends more money on fucking viagra
He's pulled out of the Paris climate agreement when literally almost every other country on earth has agreed its a good idea
He's got rid of NAFTA and replaced it with something that is basically the same, just slightly worse
