A majority of socialists come from Middle Class

2019-04-21 03:29:09 UTC

In America there are only 5 economic classes

2019-04-21 03:29:41 UTC

The lower, the middle, and the upper are ur obligatory classes

2019-04-21 03:29:54 UTC

But America is unique in which they have two extra sub classes

2019-04-21 03:30:04 UTC

Big enough to be considered a class

2019-04-21 03:30:25 UTC

For simplicity we will call them the lower-middle and middle-upper

2019-04-21 03:30:49 UTC

We will also nickname them as Dream Chaser and Small Business Owners

2019-04-21 03:30:58 UTC

Because thats what they usually are

2019-04-21 03:38:53 UTC

Now this is important because the lower-middle has always been an emerging and disappearing class.

2019-04-21 03:39:04 UTC

hence the Dream Chaser

2019-04-21 03:39:18 UTC

These are the people that pursue the American Dream and their optimism to pursue it.

2019-04-21 03:39:34 UTC

And they are essentially the voter base of every national election.

2019-04-21 03:39:42 UTC

Middle Class simply don't care about healthcare

2019-04-21 03:39:55 UTC

because one: their job can give it to them or two: they can afford it

2019-04-21 03:40:16 UTC

Now these lower-middle people however they can't.

2019-04-21 03:40:26 UTC

They're not poor enough that the government will subsidize for a majority of their healthcare

2019-04-21 03:40:35 UTC

nor are they wealthy enough to buy it on their own

2019-04-21 03:40:57 UTC

So both parties intend to enfranchise these people.

2019-04-21 03:41:52 UTC

Ever since labor unions have decreased in strength and power, the lower-middle has been fucked from everywhere

2019-04-21 03:41:57 UTC

from the government, from their jobs, and from society.

2019-04-21 03:43:17 UTC

For government, they simply don't qualify for programs that should make them qualified.
For jobs, they feel their work are underappreciated and underrepresented (hence why labor unions even start up)
For society, where they're expected to suddenly "git gud" and "stop being poor"

2019-04-21 03:43:17 UTC

GG @Techpriest, you just advanced to level 20!

2019-04-21 03:43:35 UTC

Now both parties actually try to solve this problem.

2019-04-21 03:44:03 UTC

Democrats propose for government problem: let's just raise the qualifications and increase the programs' funding!

2019-04-21 03:44:35 UTC

Republicans however prefer a more federalism approach where "let's just give the states a block sum grant of money and then have the states decide what qualify"

2019-04-21 03:44:40 UTC

Both have varying success rates ofc.

2019-04-21 03:45:15 UTC

For jobs, Democrats want to increase the minimum wage while Republicans want to cut taxes.

2019-04-21 03:46:20 UTC

For society however, this is where the parties are currently fighting over.

2019-04-21 03:47:04 UTC

Democrats want you to stop being poor and getting good by granting affirmative actions and regulating immoral business practices.

2019-04-21 03:47:23 UTC

Republicans however believe that how the fuck can people get good and stop being poor because of regulation and reverse racism?

2019-04-21 03:47:39 UTC

I'll give one good example for instance in California.

2019-04-21 03:47:59 UTC

The Housing Market is easily imagined for the 5 classes.

2019-04-21 03:48:51 UTC

Upper - (can afford multiple and may even rent out)
Middle-Upper - (owns a house and almost done paying it off)
Middle - (paying the house on mortgage)
Lower-Middle - (high-risk house-buyer)
Lower - (rent only)

2019-04-21 03:49:13 UTC

Now for the upper class, the housing market in California is particularly lovely.

2019-04-21 03:49:24 UTC

House prices are going up, thus rent prices can go up. All this money upper class people are making

2019-04-21 03:49:25 UTC

easy

2019-04-21 03:49:41 UTC

The middle-upper and middle enjoy this because they probably bought a house already and just paying it off.

2019-04-21 03:49:50 UTC

However, the lower-middle and lower are fucked in the ass

2019-04-21 03:50:32 UTC

They can't afford to buy a house given a shit house is worth a mansion in Texas and rent prices are ridiculously high.

2019-04-21 03:50:39 UTC

So what does the majority Democrat party do?

2019-04-21 03:51:36 UTC

On government side, they're helping the lower class by providing subsidized housing where the government will pay almost $2k/month for you to live there and be affordable for you. (the lower-middle however... some do not qualify) OR they'll sponsor a construction firm to construct low-income apartment complexes.
