look up the definition of rate

2019-07-16 13:23:49 UTC

then look up the rates

2019-07-16 13:23:57 UTC

I dont have trump fever, but I give credit where it is due. If the Dems really wanted to defeat him in 2020 they would focus on his actual flaws instead of crying about his Twitter feed or something he said 15 years ago

2019-07-16 13:24:35 UTC

Like most people dont care about social issues. They want economic stability

2019-07-16 13:26:48 UTC

Actually a better plan for the Dems would be to stop focusing on Trump about everything

2019-07-16 13:26:49 UTC

So I looked it up

2019-07-16 13:27:14 UTC

I'd say that's fairly steady decrease since 2010

2019-07-16 13:27:47 UTC

That's a good thing

2019-07-16 13:27:52 UTC

I know it is

2019-07-16 13:28:10 UTC

But my point is trump hasn't increased the rate of decrease since Obama was in office

2019-07-16 13:28:18 UTC

Yes he has

2019-07-16 13:28:18 UTC

So you can't credit it to Trump

2019-07-16 13:28:24 UTC

Or Obama

2019-07-16 13:28:26 UTC

If he didnt do anything it would flatline

2019-07-16 13:28:38 UTC

Mate the graph is literally there

2019-07-16 13:28:50 UTC

If he didn't do anything the current trends would continue

2019-07-16 13:28:51 UTC

Flat line means horizontal

2019-07-16 13:28:55 UTC

I know

2019-07-16 13:29:09 UTC

So if Trump did nothing then it wouldn't magically continue to decrease

2019-07-16 13:29:14 UTC

the rates have increased

2019-07-16 13:29:19 UTC

It would

2019-07-16 13:29:19 UTC

not a ton but they have

2019-07-16 13:29:46 UTC

I mean there's no noticable difference on that graph so I'm skeptical about crediting anything to Trump here

2019-07-16 13:29:56 UTC

because your x axis is too large

2019-07-16 13:29:57 UTC

Just as I also wouldn't credit anything to Obama here jsyk

2019-07-16 13:30:08 UTC

Well the credit is it continued to decrease

2019-07-16 13:30:09 UTC

if you shorten the timeline the difference would be more pronounced

2019-07-16 13:30:14 UTC

Meaning he didnt fuck it up

2019-07-16 13:30:23 UTC

Yeah he didn't fuck it up

2019-07-16 13:30:31 UTC

But he also didn't improve it

2019-07-16 13:30:39 UTC

It is better though

2019-07-16 13:34:55 UTC

Heres a zoomed in graph with a line where trump became president

2019-07-16 13:36:23 UTC
2019-07-16 13:37:02 UTC

@Overpaid It's better but it would've been better regardless of whether Trump won the election

2019-07-16 13:38:55 UTC

How do you know that?

2019-07-16 13:40:15 UTC

Because Hillary's economic policies would've barely different from Obama's or any other Establishment democrat and unemployment went down just the same under Obama as you can see from that graph

2019-07-16 13:40:43 UTC

But it went down under Trump

2019-07-16 13:40:44 UTC

GG @Overpaid, you just advanced to level 3!

2019-07-16 13:41:11 UTC

Not because of trump though
