No, I’m asking you what saying that Russia supports trump has to do with that

2019-11-06 18:05:04 UTC

So name something

2019-11-06 18:05:48 UTC

So Putin wants to make sure that Russians are happy that he’s providing support to trump

2019-11-06 18:06:10 UTC

what support, verbal support?

2019-11-06 18:06:18 UTC

we're talking about verbal support still right?

2019-11-06 18:06:25 UTC

Are you going to answer the question?

2019-11-06 18:06:31 UTC

yes please clarify though

2019-11-06 18:06:36 UTC

we're talking verbal support rigth

2019-11-06 18:06:37 UTC

We’re talking about a media strategy

2019-11-06 18:06:47 UTC

ok I'm typing it but I wanted to clarify

2019-11-06 18:07:04 UTC

Material support

2019-11-06 18:07:09 UTC

A close relationship between them

2019-11-06 18:07:24 UTC

what "material" support

2019-11-06 18:07:26 UTC

Close diplomatic relations, election support, all of it

2019-11-06 18:07:30 UTC

Please try to focus

2019-11-06 18:07:36 UTC

I’m talking about the media strategy

2019-11-06 18:07:41 UTC

I am but you are now jumping from topic to topic at first it was just the TV

2019-11-06 18:07:45 UTC

don't project

2019-11-06 18:07:49 UTC

We are talking about Putin’s media strategy

2019-11-06 18:07:52 UTC

good me too but now you jumped to other things

2019-11-06 18:07:57 UTC

Yes, and if you followed the thread

2019-11-06 18:08:05 UTC

You would understand why we are where we are

2019-11-06 18:08:08 UTC

and I'm trying to type the answer but I keep having to store it in my clipboard to answer these in-between things you're saying

2019-11-06 18:08:11 UTC

New Tinashe album tonight at midnight!

2019-11-06 18:08:16 UTC

Then type your answer

2019-11-06 18:08:20 UTC

I am ffs

2019-11-06 18:08:52 UTC

Whether you believe that Putin offered material support to trump is immaterial to this discussion

2019-11-06 18:09:08 UTC

maybe I didn't explain it good enough

America is doing better than Russia
Russians ask "why is America doing better, can we do the same thing so we can be doing better?"
Putin doesn't want russians to have the sovereignty americans enjoy with free market, gun ownership etc etc etc

so what does he say "actually trump is super good for americans you guys, but you can't have the same things cause it would be bad for you?"

he has to say "actually this is bad for americans, so you don't really want it, in fact, we should endorse it so things get worse for them"

this makes their leader seem smarter and in more control over the situation

2019-11-06 18:09:55 UTC

Putin might be a patriot, but he's definitely an authoritarian

2019-11-06 18:10:17 UTC

If thy were true chlorophyll

2019-11-06 18:10:20 UTC

Sometimes that's evne more dangerous than a disinterested dictator who just wants money

2019-11-06 18:10:24 UTC

he can't be letting Russians having any fancy ideas of wanting the same things we americans enjoy, it has to be painted to them like a dark dystopia

2019-11-06 18:10:28 UTC

Why is Putin supporting trump on state TV

2019-11-06 18:10:33 UTC

The problem with your theory

2019-11-06 18:10:34 UTC

that's exactly what I just explained

2019-11-06 18:10:45 UTC

No, you didn’t

2019-11-06 18:11:06 UTC

You are explaining why they’re saying Russia ought to be happy trump is in power

2019-11-06 18:11:12 UTC

what would it mean if he said "we need to get rid of Trump"
it would mean he sees Trump as a threat

2019-11-06 18:11:19 UTC

But since they’re offering actual support

2019-11-06 18:11:22 UTC

Literal help

2019-11-06 18:11:22 UTC

no please read carefully 😭
