Ok I start off with saying that school is a joke

And HOW you all think we should fix it

We know a lot about learning, and we dont apply it

Seems like a contradiction, but only if you believe the purpose of school is to learn

If you want people to learn, they must spend time...they must experiment, they must play with the ideas.

History should not be boring. Science should not be boring. Math should not be boring.

A good class? One that you figure out how to measure the distance to the nearest star (other than the sun)

In that is a history lesson, a science lesson, and a math lesson. And, you walk away not being able to be duped into thinking the world is flat

Not the right channel for this discussion... but not everyone will be smart, doesn't mean there's no purpose for them it's just some people are just happy with their life without needing to know how a virus spreads. But for those that do want to know, it's our responsibilities as a member of society to "allow" them to expand their knowledge. This is not just a one way street and it does take more effort on the person that wants to learn, but there are opportunities for them currently. Schools are not meant to teach everything but to inspire and provide some basic knowledge until they start their path and put in the effort. @xxxVoyageSpaceManxxx
