I'm not American you stupid cunt
Traitor is a pretty high charge...
Lmao
@Deleted User nah you're a cunt but you're right I never read the district of columbia case
Anyway 70 months is pretty light for treason
Cuz it isn't
18 U.S. Code § 371.Conspiracy to commit offense or to defraud United States
If two or more persons conspire either to commit any offense against the United States, or to defraud the United States, or any agency thereof in any manner or for any purpose, and one or more of such persons do any act to effect the object of the conspiracy, each shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.
If, however, the offense, the commission of which is the object of the conspiracy, is a misdemeanor only, the punishment for such conspiracy shall not exceed the maximum punishment provided for such misdemeanor.
Hmm, not sure I grabbed the right one...one sec...
Nope, thats it
It sounds a lot like a charge for lying to federal law enforcement
Yea, it is worded in the statement*: Conspiracy against the United States
Which, is easy to twist for people with goldfish attention spans
How is it different than perjury?
Perjury is lying on the stand. What was claimed there was is conspiracy...though, I didnt read further through the statement, stopped at the first
That’s not lying to law enforcement
And you’re missing the FARA violation
Which is acting as a foreign agent
He was literally charged with working for the Russian government
@Deleted User So the document you provided was from the same case against Manafort "Case 1:17-cr-00201" it says in on top of the form but yours is dated Sept. 2018 ... the plea deal and the final documents I sent are from Feb. 2019 is what the actual charges he's been convicted of. I'm sure we can come up with plenty of "Dems" that are guilty of more crimes than this ... but I'm not saying any of this is "Okay" but saying the way it was investigated was pretty bogus. The other trail / Case 1:18-cr-00083 which all took place prior to his time on the Trump campaign. Besides spreading bogus remarks I do suggest that you take up some reading... here's a decent site rather than VOX ... https://www.lawfareblog.com/documents-related-mueller-investigation#Manafort
GG @Chameleon, you just advanced to level 9!
He had 2 separate sentencings
And no, this was during the trump campaign
Where did you get the idea that this was prior to the trump campaign
yes one in DC and the other in Virginia
You have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about. Where do you come up with this stuff
And?
Virginia was the 2nd one I put there and it was all prior to Trump
What was “bogus” about the way it was investigated?
No, that’s just not accurate
It was during his time on the trump campaign
And you’re missing the sentence extension
The FISA warrant was for Carter Page... they should have taken out additional and renewed it on the others and lost focus of what the intended warrant was granted for.
I love that you’re straight up defending someone in federal prison for being a secret Russian agent. How far has the Republican Party fallen
Nope, as the IG report stated, there was no impropriety in the nature of the FISA warrant
You are just wrong.
And beyond that, really? That’s your argument? Yes they found secret Russian agents but they didn’t dot their i’s?
LOL, I'm not defending them I'm defending any citizen which can be put under this pressure from the government without proper legality of their investigation.
Again, it was all totally legal
If you don’t like FISA warrants, take it up with the Republican Party, who extended them when they had full control of the government.
You’re delusional Sophia
