Hmm, not sure I grabbed the right one...one sec...

2020-01-12 15:19:37 UTC

Nope, thats it

2020-01-12 15:19:58 UTC

It sounds a lot like a charge for lying to federal law enforcement

2020-01-12 15:20:45 UTC

Yea, it is worded in the statement*: Conspiracy against the United States

2020-01-12 15:20:55 UTC

Which, is easy to twist for people with goldfish attention spans

2020-01-12 15:21:39 UTC

How is it different than perjury?

2020-01-12 15:22:15 UTC

Perjury is lying on the stand. What was claimed there was is conspiracy...though, I didnt read further through the statement, stopped at the first

2020-01-12 15:29:19 UTC

That’s not lying to law enforcement

2020-01-12 15:29:26 UTC

And you’re missing the FARA violation

2020-01-12 15:29:37 UTC

Which is acting as a foreign agent

2020-01-12 15:29:48 UTC

He was literally charged with working for the Russian government

2020-01-12 15:36:18 UTC

@Deleted User So the document you provided was from the same case against Manafort "Case 1:17-cr-00201" it says in on top of the form but yours is dated Sept. 2018 ... the plea deal and the final documents I sent are from Feb. 2019 is what the actual charges he's been convicted of. I'm sure we can come up with plenty of "Dems" that are guilty of more crimes than this ... but I'm not saying any of this is "Okay" but saying the way it was investigated was pretty bogus. The other trail / Case 1:18-cr-00083 which all took place prior to his time on the Trump campaign. Besides spreading bogus remarks I do suggest that you take up some reading... here's a decent site rather than VOX ... https://www.lawfareblog.com/documents-related-mueller-investigation#Manafort

2020-01-12 15:36:19 UTC

GG @Chameleon, you just advanced to level 9!

2020-01-12 15:37:55 UTC

@Chameleon that’s not how it works

2020-01-12 15:38:03 UTC

He had 2 separate sentencings

2020-01-12 15:38:25 UTC

And no, this was during the trump campaign

2020-01-12 15:38:35 UTC

Where did you get the idea that this was prior to the trump campaign

2020-01-12 15:38:49 UTC

yes one in DC and the other in Virginia

2020-01-12 15:38:49 UTC

You have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about. Where do you come up with this stuff

2020-01-12 15:39:04 UTC

And?

2020-01-12 15:39:28 UTC

Virginia was the 2nd one I put there and it was all prior to Trump

2020-01-12 15:39:33 UTC

What was “bogus” about the way it was investigated?

2020-01-12 15:39:41 UTC

No, that’s just not accurate

2020-01-12 15:39:49 UTC

It was during his time on the trump campaign

2020-01-12 15:39:57 UTC

And you’re missing the sentence extension

2020-01-12 15:40:45 UTC

The FISA warrant was for Carter Page... they should have taken out additional and renewed it on the others and lost focus of what the intended warrant was granted for.

2020-01-12 15:40:58 UTC

I love that you’re straight up defending someone in federal prison for being a secret Russian agent. How far has the Republican Party fallen

2020-01-12 15:41:17 UTC

Nope, as the IG report stated, there was no impropriety in the nature of the FISA warrant

2020-01-12 15:41:21 UTC

You are just wrong.

2020-01-12 15:41:52 UTC

And beyond that, really? That’s your argument? Yes they found secret Russian agents but they didn’t dot their i’s?

2020-01-12 15:42:51 UTC

LOL, I'm not defending them I'm defending any citizen which can be put under this pressure from the government without proper legality of their investigation.

2020-01-12 15:43:08 UTC

Again, it was all totally legal

2020-01-12 15:43:38 UTC

If you don’t like FISA warrants, take it up with the Republican Party, who extended them when they had full control of the government.

2020-01-12 15:43:44 UTC

You’re delusional Sophia

2020-01-12 15:43:49 UTC

Yes dear

2020-01-12 15:44:03 UTC

What specifically are you suggesting was done illegally?

2020-01-12 15:44:24 UTC

He lied to investigators about his finances and that’s what the charges stemmed from.

2020-01-12 15:44:30 UTC

That’s not accurate

2020-01-12 15:45:00 UTC

He was convicted on conspiracy to defraud the United States, and failing to register as a Russian agent.

2020-01-12 15:45:02 UTC

The Russian agent narrative you’re trying to paint is a total fabrication

2020-01-12 15:45:14 UTC

Again, he is currently in prison for it.
