Did you even read those?
You just spouting shit and tagging me when I’m not online does not constitute an argument
No, I didn’t watch the sotu and I didn’t read your shit
Alright, what about the 3 values with loads of evidence?
So I’m giving you this opportunity right now to state your list of what you think trump has done well
I don’t know what you’re talking about
I will repost them
No, I’m not reading some list someone else wrote
Tell me in your words
Then if the time comes you can use them as source evidence for specific claims
That’s not what you do
It’s not my job to wade through whatever documents you want to provide
Ok, well if you don’t want to have a real discussion then I guess we can’t
You try to make the rules of the debate and then you break them yourself
I think everyone on here can tell you I debate with intellectual honesty and fairness
I want to have a logical discussion, but when you decide how the discussion will go, how is it a discussion?
There are some basic rules to how debate works
You need a clear statement
So I’m asking you to make a clear statement
I have one
I will.
What do you think trump has done well, in your own words
Here are 3 things trump has done.
1. Not letting the U.S. be ripped off by unfair trade https://ustr.gov/trade-agreements/free-trade-agreements/united-states-mexico-canada-agreement/fact-sheets/modernizing
2. Religious freedom https://www.wsj.com/articles/trump-stands-up-for-religious-freedom-11569279353
3. Removing unnecessary regulations https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/presidential-executive-order-reducing-regulation-controlling-regulatory-costs/ https://www.politico.com/story/2017/01/trump-signs-executive-order-requiring-that-for-every-one-new-regulation-two-must-be-revoked-234365
In your own words.
@Yusa, I couldn't read the WSJ article because of paywall, but here goes anyway:
1) NAFTA was good, and USMCA was too in principle, but not in practice; jobs were outsourced instead of pushed back into the US, because companies didn't have to subject themselves to paying 16 dollars/h when they could pay much less plus deduct healthcare costs in Mexico for example. Idk what kind of business "genius" Trump is if he couldn't predict that would happen.
2) Government favouring any religion and/or belief over another automatically dismantles any idea that it's protecting religious freedom; there's plenty of evidence for that around, and I think you would agree (think Charlottesville, Muslim ban, etc.)
3) I honestly got no idea what the benefit of this is. It sounds like a meaningless technicality to me, but feel free to add share why this matters so much and how it exemplifies Trump's values.
This is not how debate works
fuck typing on phone btw.
fuck typing on phone very much.
Lol, I completely understand Vlad
@Yusa ok, 1. Trump has done nothing to improve trade deals.
And you have not provided any evidence that suggests otherwise
2. Trump has enacted several anti-religious freedom policies, including the Muslim ban. He is against religious freedom
@Deleted User you ask for sources than tell us that you’re not going to read them
Basically every economist out there is criticizing Trump’s trade policies. It’s one of the few things economists have a consensus on
3. Lowering regulation is a bad thing, it leads to dead weight loss and lowers the health of Americans and makes the market less free.
None of your sources refute any of my points
@Vlad
1. Sorry, I’ll grab different evidence for that
2. When is he favoring a certain religion?
3. Did you read any of the articles I sent? The benefit is shown there.
This is why you have to make claims BEFORE you provide sources
2. The Muslim ban favors religions that are not Muslim.
