combustion engines will be near zero emissions one day. and the liquid fuel of methanol is 30% less volume for the same potential energy as a battery
the idea that we could replace the combustion engine vehicles on the road today with batteries is laughable and would require strip mining entire countries
the carbon investment of such a large scale of mining and manufacturing not to mention what mining does for soil degradation and water pollution.
