Alarmism is warranted, this is a fairly deadly virus spreading incredibly fast throughout the world that has no treatment or vaccine yet, the latter of which wouldn't be distributed for at the very least a few months from now. Not sure what is being done to contain the spread of the virus as a whole, but we're now seeing clusters of cases pop up regularly along with a full blown outbreak in Washington and I'm seeing stories about CDC personnel being underprepared. Very troubling

Again we should secure our borders I understand those people are out of luck but if it gets out of control it will crash the economy and we will be worse off. At least until we have it under control.

China had taken virtually no action against the virus for about a month and allowed it to spread, meaning that people from the epicenter were able to travel anywhere. So even in spite of whatever our CDC does I doubt we would avoid a countrywide pandemic. Only stave it off for a time, but we're going to have a harder time doing that by not informing the public on the true scope of the crisis, which Donald Trump is just as guilty of doing as the msm is.
