Instead it's universally agreed we need our traditional government.

Which we called clans.

Democracy is the only "best government" because it pretends to give you a voice

And a function of governing entrusted to them.

But most people in the United States don't even use the voice given to them

Hence it worked better for my people than democracy.

Which is what I mean by culturally centered governments.

Religion can influence culture naturally.

But you shouldn't enforce religion via the state.

For example,

Religion plays a huge part in forming one's culture

While our clans were foundationed in our religion,

We did not enforce that religion on people.

As such there were Christians too in our nation.
