I don't have a static definition. Philosophy is hard to describe since there are so many fields.

I think philosophy is a way to use reason and questioning to understand our own existence in the wordl.

But how would that definition fit for example: Marx' philosophy

The pork thing was purely a sanitation thing at heart. Pigs were covered in shit and the meat commonly got tainted. Nobody really knew exactly why eating pork made people sick, but they couldn't explain why so they just said you're going to hell if you do it so just don't fuck with it.
