Nobody is holding them down anymore
Poor parenting for starters
If they have any
For example Latinos or Asians donβt have the same stats why is that ?
*ahem 18 years going to store for cigarettes*
You see, your argument went like this, they are victim of police violence because they are disproportionately criminals
But some people argue the contrary
I think the problem BLM has is that it doesn't focus on that question. It simply blames police officers for everything. MLK said that the black community must fix problems such as this rather than just putting all the blame on whites
Nope thereβs no evidence for that argument @lemonsaw
There is strong evidence for unfairness in the justice system based on race
The police do not create criminals @lemonsaw
@lemonsaw there is no such evidence
Studies have shown again and gain there is a racial bias
Sentences are usually sentenced on many factors. One of them being if they were to commit a crime again.
Fake news show me one study from the last year with verified citations
Blacks are more likely to commit crimes again
If anything white people go to jail a lot more
Because there is no pushback of it being for racial reasons
"Fake news"?
He means CNN
It's bad parenting and things like that
Show me a study from the last 5 years which shows black people got unfair treatment ?
A culture of deadbeat fathers
Cum n run
Can I show you a Washington post article which has gathered over 20 studies on police profiling and racial bias in the justice system
I don't know what you consider as fake news
If they cite their sources fine
And donβt draw arbitrary conclusions
Scroll down
When you raise a generation of boys with no fathers, who's male role model are a bunch of shitty rappers that are constantly talking about gangs and killing, it's no surprise that many of these boys end up in prison
That is the problem that must be fixed
I agree
But empirical data also shows there are social biases
I certainly think it's a mix of both
At the end of the day, I don't want to make a false dilemma fallacy but either there are socioeconomical factors or it's caused by biological factors
Or a mix
If you deny all environmental factors, then just face it and argue the genetic argument
Politicians take some of the blame as well
From both parties
