but it's like everyone completely side stepping the existence of native americans and black americans (as in the descendants of US slavery)
My gut says it's a ploy to keep 'us' from getting involved in the immigration debate, a la barbara jordan in the 90s
the dems have their reasons for it, the republicans are very hypocritical about illegal alien labor etc, like Nunes' family farm in Iowa
Multi layered, becaue you have people like Candace Owens who are affiliated with TPUSA, which gets attacked by the America Firsters for pushing the Conservative Inc legal immigration line
Owens is not ADOS iirc
the immigration fight is important on its own, but it is also a labor issue in general, which is always attacked full spectrum in the US
yes you are right, candace is a caribbean american
any server for uk?
My favorte chart on that issue
interesting view though, i didn't think about the immigration issue from that angle fully
or spain?
I'm not a huge union fan, but SOMETHING has to be done about the declining worker's share of gross income
xd
model wise, it basically goes to creditors, the rise of household debt to gdp ratio is basically the inverse of that chart
i think we (black american DOS) need to be treated as a protected group akin to native americans, but also that we & native americans need to form a united front on this issue
i'm gonna look into the workers issue
I would be happy just to have some separate consciousness on the topic. I think about it from a foreign policy aspect as well.
cool 🙂
how you put your id with a colour?
Blacks always get sucked into spearheading the wider 'poc' movements and lose our specific representation
and end up not benefitting in the end
need to find that picture of the cake
historically, any black-led movements benefit ALL.
I dislike how the gays piggy backed on Civil Rights
yup, and their specific movements benefit them
when it's a "POC" thing black people do not benefit
and often purposefully exclude blacks lol
you can set your watch to it lol
i hate the whole POC thing
I always cross out 'African American" and put Black AMerican as well
black issues are a separate entity
In one overlooked area, Blacks are also way underpresented in counterintelligence issues
yes i am also in favor of the Black American title over African American, as i don't think that ever made sense
we might be corrupt, but we rarely sell out America
meanwhile every week there is a case of a Chinese 'American" selling secrets
Other groups will never understand how Black AMericans view the country, they'll never love it the same way despite the rhetoric you hear about "we came over as immigrants to fin da better life bla bla"
because we don't have outside allegiances or connection, that might be a big reason why
indeed
