It’s called white guilt
Just be accurate, I've heard the racism against Muslims argument before.
The study doesn’t conclude that race mixed children will have more disorders compared to another race or experimental group
And cant people edit PMC studies lol
But who is more likely to be racist? An immigrant that was surrounded by one colour their entire life... or a white perosn why grew up in diversity
Yet white people are the offenders

holy fuck
@abby_ella because race mixing is damaging particularly to the child
So is discrimination
I don’t advocate for discrimination, if you are referring to segregation
I do advocate for making it illegal to race mix though
Saying discrimination is harmful is *not* a counter argument to race mixing is harmful
Ok then, prove your point. Prove that that’s harmful to anyone
Gotta go to class but I have a bunch of links saved. When I’m back I’ll dump them and ping you.
Here’s a peer-reviewed study that traces the origin of negative health effects among minorities to percieved discrimination as a stressor
Which would seem to suggest that any negative health trends among mixed race individuals are likely the result of, you know, opposition to their existence by racists such as can be seen in this chat
In other words, if you’re opposed to “race mixing,” you’re the problem
@abby_ella
1. Race mixing is racism/race hatred. How is mixing races out of existence not race hatred? How is mixing races out of existence racial love/racial respect? Every person I've ever asked has been unable to answer this. Race mixing is race hatred not because of the feelings or intentions of the individuals involved, but because the very act of race mixing inevitably mixes races and entire racial lines out of existence.
2. Race mixing is scientifically proven to have detrimental consequences such as mixed race people having infertility, lower IQ, mental health issues, defects/disabilities, etc. due to being mixed.
Mixed people are more likely to have a variety of medical issues.

Checkmate!
@!GoldenKingship! Interesting data points. The article I posted offers a framework for interpreting those data points in a way that ultimately explains those correlations (since, as we all know, correlation is not causation) as the result of stress from racism and real or perceived discrimination. So, no, not checkmate, at all
@abby_ella 1. your article focuses on african americans, so im curious to see what your argument is for asian americans who are statistically more prone to mental illness when mixed race
2. even if what you are saying is right, humans are tribalistic. It is a natural impulse to be wary of people of different skin, its a survival mechanism.
Therefore, it would be unwise to advise against what you are arguing.
It is actually bad for us to do so, and for everyone else to do that either. Which is why I suggest a homeland theory, not necessarily a discrimination theory
